You ask that like it's a bad thing! Of course is not a bad thing! But I thought she sings only about that subject

Hurrah! It has indeed been released!
In Music Week, "Competition" is listed as being released on the 3 Oct. Good choice, if it happens. It has been suggested that it may be a download-only release though.

I hope they release "True Believer" instead. It actually could be a hit.

I just wish they'd get an official US release, damn it! This is the second album this year (after Terra Naomi's Under the Influence) that's been released damn near everywhere else but here. I'd much rather own the albums as opposed to the pre-release leaked mp3s but I simply can't bring myself to pay almost $20 including shipping for a CD, no matter how desperately I want to own it.
*sigh*
I'm also growing tired of songs being released almost exclusively through foreign iTunes... but that's another rant altogether.

I'm really confused about Galore...
Will there be an official US release date?? and will these ridiculous prices on amazon ($42+) go down by then??
and if there isn't a set release date, should I check eBay?

^I'm giving it another month or two. I might just order it from cd-wow.com if no US date is announced by then. Or ebay, like you said. But I'd rather them get the money from wherever I order it; on ebay, that won't happen.

I got given a free compilation CD at uni & Dragonette's 'Take It Like A Man' was one of the trcks, WOW pretty damn good! Her voice reminds me a bit of Gwen Stefani [in No Doubt] & the musics sorta Goldfrapp-esque but not too much that it sounds like a copy of either of them

So I checked this music out since this thread is constantly bumped...and I am gonna say "meh" sounds like typical Euro-Trash pop. Nothing really special, slightly boring. But some people like that style of music and can appreciate it more than me. Just like I don't get the fascination with Kylie.

ah ha I KNEW someone would smite me for the above post. Why not stand up instead of being a wuss and just state your opinion? Hmmmmmm?
Sorry that I don't like you guys beloved generic Roxette cover band.

Dragonette are a million times better than Kylie (who I do like as well). They're are much fresher and more innovative. Plus they just write good old-fashioned well crafted pop. Kylie's new single is shite, btw.

Europop at its finest is like the Holy Grail of pop. If you don't like it, don't pursue it. Don't listen to it.

It is quite the classic, alright! Every song on the record is flawless, it's too hard to choose favourites.
