How fucking good is this! I'm playing this band almost as much as I play Garbage. I can honestly say I haven't liked a new band as much as I like them in a long time. Fresh, energetic, visceral, funky, beautiful, I just wanna move when I hear them. I could count on my hand the amount of bands who have made me sit up and listen like this from the off - Garbage in 96, Feline in 98.... can't think of any other. Releasing the album in October would be a big mistake - I've read tons of great reviews for it this week, and the albums leaked months ago... I think Dragonette will be another band with spoilt potential.

Are the 6 tracks on the 2005 Dragonette E.P.
1. I Get Around 2. Magic Fantastic 3. Competition 4. Jesus Doesn't Love Me 5. Shock Box 6. Teacher Teacher
the same version as appearing on the 2007 album or B-sides?

Teacher Teacher the same version as appearing on the 2007 album or B-sides? As Oscillations said, the original mixes of Jesus Doesn't Love Me and Competition are on the EP (I Get Around is ever so slightly different in the intro too), whilst the album versions are different (and much better IMO, especially Jesus...) There are new versions of Shockbox (on the I Get Around single) and Teacher Teacher (on the Take It Like A Man single). The original Shockbox is better (it's a pity this didn't make the album as it's just sublime), but the new version of Teacher Teacher isn't that different. I'm hoping for a new version of Magic Fantastic on their third single, as it's one of my favourites on the EP!

I'm not sure which Shockbox I have heard. I downloaded one on P2 and one on a music blog as part of the EP, both are the same, but I assumed the one I had originally was from the single.... must not be.

Thats weird! It's out over here.
But yet again, like AG, they don't have it in store!
I'm hoping to get it this week.
