Myspace Message:
"It has taken a forest of supercomputers at Mercury Records over 8 months to painstakingly convert those sweet sounds into a digital format that regular old home computers and mp3 players can understand and reproduce.
However, the wait is now over and the result is the truest reproduction of our album that money can buy. Accept nothing less than the real thing and head over to iTunes here to get your copy. The album is only on iTunes for our UK friends at the moment but fear not our global friends, your wait will not be long. It's true. For real. Sho 'nuff. 100%. GALORE is so close already you can almost touch it...it's yours if you want it.
Love from Dragonette P.S. The CD version will be in the shops on September 17th."
I thought it was already out, just not in stock in the shops.

Myspace Message: Love from Dragonette P.S. The CD version will be in the shops on September 17th. So does that mean the US will have it September 18th?? or will we have to wait even longer?

After seeing all of the Dragonette signatures on the board, I found this thread a month or so ago, read the love, and downloaded a few of their songs. I've become obsessed with "Black Limousine" and "I Get Around." I'm currently downloading the EP; I'll then be downloading all of the singles, promos, and finally Galore. I can't wait until the official release!
So thanks, betches... /begin sarcasm ...because I didn't already have a back log of music to listen to already.

OK, so this is what I have managed to acquire thus far. Have I missed anything? - EP
- I Get Around (Two-track Promo)
- I Get Around (Seven tracks, Remixes)
- I Get Around (Three-track UK Single)
- Take It Like A Man (Seven tracks, Remixes)
- Galore
- "The Boys"
Also, I seem to have several versions of "I Get Around." I have the 3:04 EP version, the 3:27 Galore version, a 3:28/3:32 radio/promo version, and a miscellaneous 3:23 version that begins fading out at around the 2:52 mark. WTF?!

I'm so glad so many people are into this band! I've had a promo copy of Galore for a while (it cost me small fortune on e-bay) and it just gets better and better. Oh and Ghostsofjoy? Black Limousine is my favourite too! So trashy and rude!

I picked up the TILAM 7" numbered #1,111 yesterday - really happy to have such a cool number. Looks like True Believer is the next single now and not Competition.

Yup, it's good to see my little thread turn into something big. And we are getting more Aloud fans here, too. Could it be people are finally over the 90's?

We sure have great taste, don't we? God, I need Galore in my hands now.

My little question: Martina Sorbora sings only about sex?

My little question: Martina Sorbora sings only about sex? She used to be a solo artist singing what she terms "tampon music". I'm assuming this is a woman with a guitar whinging about being on the blob again!God love the woman. She's hilarious.

Oh, and hmv.co.uk and play.com both have the release date for the album listed as 17 September. It's weird since there's no news of a new single prior to the album.

Yeah, thats what I was thinking that as well. It's being released on it's own strength.
