I'm sorry but for those people who criticize her weight is absolutely horrible. I think she looks absolutely perfect and she even looks awesome without make-up.
As for the string, it's her hair pin that she put in her hair, not the string on her jacket.

And you always figure if her solo work does in fact go sour (which I doubt), she STILL has Garbage to fall back on. We won't be seeing Shirley done till she reaches Chrissie or Debbies age, and then some.

I think Shirley will step out of the boundries she set herself up for Garbage and try new and improved things; whether it's much poppier stuff, jazz, or even some glam-pop (although Garbage already touches some of those). In my eyes, if management and the songs are picked just right, her record will soar. She has the looks, the talent (most of all), and the know-how on the business. Most if not all reviewers give Shirley praise for her talent. I don't see double-platinum status, but if there are Garbage fans, we surely will have Shirley fans, and then some. Whatever the case, I'll buy double the CD's, since I love supporting bands and singers who rightfully deserve it.

Honestly, as long as she doesn't do another version of "B-A-N-A-N-A-S", then I am fine. I couldn't care less what she does with her career, just as long management and the record company does a decent job promoting it. Whatever Shirley does with her solo work, I will still buy the record. I don't care if it's all ballads, if it's pop, if it's screamo; as long as I get to hear Shirley croon, I am surely buying the record.

That was the usual saying we would hear on garbage.com and subhuman.net when something was going to be 'updated'.
Not sure what will happen with the site, but it's their business.

But on Family Guy, Joe's son (Peter's nextdoor neighbor) was speaking to Meg about the bands he likes, first out of his mouth was Garbage, then Blur and Filter....yeah. Now you guys earned a new crease in your brain....

Why is this not good news? Look at the sales of the BLM album... BLM's tour ended upbruptly, BG went on for 2 years including the No Doubt tour which boosted BG up. If BLM kept going I'm sure they would have been at gold by now.

I'm sure something will be going with it, I mean there was a guy with a video camera everywhere they went through the BLM tour. I'll buy it as well, with or without new material.

I don't see why people believe once a GH's are out, they are over. Which is not true, as MANY bands before have had GH's and became even more successfull with albums after GH's. I find this to be good news, and I cannot wait for it.

I heard it will be out Winter 2006.
But we know how CD's get pushed so I'm guessing Summer 2007. Maybe more. And yes, I lied about above.....

I bet Shirley does, because at least with Adrianne she is real and not some bimbo who chugs fingers down their throat and follows trends. Adrianne is actually one awesome girl.

Being bored for the 3 hours I was relaxing, I was watching the re-run of America's Next Top Model. I was watching a part when they were in the gym, and Adrianne Curry (America's Next Top Model winner) had Version 2.0 and BeautifulGarbage CD cases in her bag. Nothing too interesting, but I think on her myspace from a year ago also says she likes Garbage. Little tidbit but nice to know a model likes Garbage

Apparently she shut down the Civic Center or something... "May 22, 2004. Ben Sidran and Shirley Manson shut down the Civic Center"
