I thought swans only feature in WDYLM lol ? Nah, "Mr Brightside", "Rich Girl", and a few more feature them from her videos.

Sophie needs to end her obsession with the swans hanging and her 'biography-like' videos. I'd like her more if she actually did different stuff in her videos.
On the other hand, Geffen probably set a low budget for their videos and didn't give them enough time allocated for them. So Sophie had to work with what she had, so I could understand her repeating her work.

This is a very good thing. Amazon's rankings have been going higher and higher and steady for the past 24 hours since the release, and we don't even have a video for it yet. The buzz is going around now, and now we can wait and Garbage can reap the benefits later once the actual video and album come out.

She looked gorgeous. Loved the hair and dress she had on.

I think Garbage know their loyalty from the fans here. The rest who just pick up on the song will have to buy it. It's a market strategy. All this happening during the airing of Chelsea Lately too, it's all about putting the feelers out.

Not sure why people are worried. Hot Chelle Rae for example gave away their first single and look at where it got them now. It's all about buzzing it.

You always want a song that is a grower. Instant buzz can be a killer on an album.

It'll go back up once the single and video is out. I'm already e-mailing Sirius XM radio about the single.

So many people are pre-occupied on getting the electronic sound of Push It with the dark moody lyrics like Vow or Stupid Girl. This happened with the previous albums. Many interviewers who listened to Bleed Like Me and Beautiful Garbage all wanted that Version 2.0 sound. Most did say that about Bleed Like Me, and we had more of a grungy guitar/live feel more-so than studio-esque work like Version 2.0 I'm just saying I hate when people build themselves up for disappointment because they didn't get that next Push It or Special. Enjoy the song for what it is, what it's worth. We almost never got Bleed Like Me, and this album was a complete left field ball. We should at least appreciate the songs and the band themselves for giving us a gift like this instead of picking apart what they should/shouldn't do music wise.

The whole song is pretty good. From what I heard it's really good.
People have to stop comparing their older works though. There will never be a Version 3.0. Just deal with it.

I got to hear the other part of the song. I'm just amazed. Love it already.

I studied typography, and the Garth G, and Google G are not the same as the Garbage G. The little differences is what makes the fonts differ from one another.
I remember doing a whole project on JK Rowlings Harry Potter typography dispute. Someone else said they made a Larry Potter before JK made Harry Potter. The typography in the Larry Potter book was done in the same font, but the font year was completely different from Harry Potters script type font.
Anyways, from what I seen using my Photoshop, the G's are different and Garbage should have no worries about it. I like the simplicity of it anyways. To be quite frank - I just want the music, and don't really care about the cover art.

Probably the 2 tour dates that were set up most likely.

I think we're being a bit too snobbish to them in my opinion. We have to remember they are not only doing rehearsals and the likes by themselves, but also the promotion, the boxing, the tour, the tracklisting, everything.
I say give them time and let them do their thing. Eventually we will get news about everything.

Pretty sure we'll get a video preview sometime mid-late March. Editing takes some time to do.

I might do the challenge from last time. I'll do my best not to listen to any leaks and wait till the release date to get the full listening experience.

I just tweeted and emailed Perez (as much as I hate him, he's good press and he loves Garbage). Hopefully he'll put it up on his page.
