It's good, but I prefer the preview on their facebook page.

I loved how when performing #1 crush during the NYKOP tour, she ad-libbed a sample from Madonna.
Also, the way she said "My God! I'm Pregnant!" during their most recent live performance of When I Grow Up was pretty awesome.
It's the last song of the setlist

My Lover's Box is my favourite track off of the self-titled album and my 5th favourite Garbage song overall! I freaking love the build-up of white noise at the end of the track and Shirley is such a badass when she performs this one live! The guitar riffs throughout the song are some of the most rocking riffs Garbage has ever written and the whole thing is total headbang material.

Great news eh! The thing that struck me most was how unlike other G releases the artwork is. Anyhow, It looks really dark so here's hoping its a true homage to their debut, what with the anniversary and all. The Chemicals is a really cool sounding title, heard the B side is called "On Fire". Probably really bad but have no clue who the guy is!! OMG exactly my thoughts! it's so different.

So this was announced on Garbage's various social media profiles:
There's more information about it on their facebook and tumblr pages, but basically their releasing two new songs with one of tracks being titled "The Chemicals" which will feature vocals from the lead singer of Silversun Pickups Brian Auburt. Hells to the yeah!! What do you guys think it's going to sound like?

I know what you mean. I'm getting really pumped! But I'm content to wait, especially with Record Store Day coming up! Perhaps it will be the lead single?

I'll go out on a limb here and say the song on Beautiful Garbage I probably think is the best is 'Drive You Home' ... such raw emotion. YAS I totally agree. Drive You Home is my 2nd favourite garbage song and it's a beautiful song about self-awareness.

Gotta pick Temptation Waits!
Not only is it my favourite song of the bunch, but IMO it does the best job of starting off the album- that ambient ringing noise in the beginning is really neat, followed by the beat kicking in which get's me pumped immediately. What's more, Temptation Waits embodies what the Version 2.0 record is all about better than any other track on the record- It's dancey, futuristic sounding, sexy, fast-paced and a bit dark and mysterious.

Eek! The way the dates fall could it be the first single backed with a B side? I hope so. I really hope the songs don't leak, I'm really stoked for queuing all that time then rushing home to hear them on my new record player :-D Did you hear about the leak that happened to Bjork? Her label is a smaller label so their freaking out because it means a lot of financial troubles for her. It bothers me that people can't be patient enough for the official release.

Ya I know it's like a wasteland around here right now except for us and a couple rare others. And I'm glad that new fans are welcome around these parts! No one at my school is really into Garbage (a lot of them don't even know them) so I feel pretty alone in my musical tastes. While others are listening to Iggy Azalea, Taylor Swift, Dubstep and Rush (they have a cult following in my school), I'm listening to Garbage, Bjork and The White Stripes. Everyone thought my Garbage 'g' necklace stood for google and that made me want to vomit. So this forum is the ideal place for me to discuss the band. But I should have sought it out sooner back in 2012 or 2013 when it appeared to be more active. But anyway, I'm hopeful people will return with more news of the new album! to me BLM just wasn't their most interesting release, but it still has my favourite closing track Happy Home. That doesn't surprise me about your school, I've always struggled to find people who even know who they are let along like them lol! To be fair about the necklace, the font they used is almost exactly the same as Google, but must've been pretty sickening!! My oldest teddy bear wears the rubber wristbands lol. Did you manage to get to any shows on the last tour? If not I bet you're really looking forward to this tour! I went to my first G show in May 2012 in London and I was so excited I vomited before the show in the toilet. How pathetic lol!! It was such an amazing show. Btw I love Happy Home too, although I don't think they'll ever top You Look so fine Nah but I'm hoping to see them on this tour. But I live in Halifax which ain't the biggest city in Canada so I can't count on them going here. The closest they'll probably come is Montreal.

Good for you, I'm please G are still attracting new fans!! It's cool to hear someone else loves BG too! I never did understand why it got so much bad press from people, it's an amazing album, and very cohesive I feel which is most peoples gripe with it.
My rank would probably be: Self titled > V2.0 > BG > NYKOP > BLM. I remember being quite disappointed by BLM. Special is my second fave after Queer. Looks like we're almost running the show on here at the mo lol. Hopefully more people will appear when they start announcing stuff properly.[/quote Ya I know it's like a wasteland around here right now except for us and a couple rare others. I just wanna see some more enthusiasm for the new album cause I got to the "Garbage" party pretty late! When did you get into G then? I was 13 when the Androgyny video came onto MTV and was amazed at how funky and different it sounded. Bought BG when it came out a few weeks later, then the 1st 2 albums and then was obsessed. Pretty pissed off I missed out following their most successful years and although remember hearing Milk, Paranoid and TWINE when they came out I was too young to appreciate them. Btw, Shirley announced they were back in the studio today to record something "very special" for RSD2015. I'm really hoping they're rerecording some songs from the debut oh i got here REAL late. I first really got into them in Grade 10 which would have been a little after NYKOP was released. I had known of them before because ITIP was on rock band and I had heard "only happy when it rains" on the radio. I was on the youtubez looking up the music videos for my favourite music on rock band and I remembered I Think I'm Paranoid. I watched the music video and was instantly hooked. But the song that really solidified my love for them was Special (Still my favourite garbage song). That one made me go out and buy Absolute Garbage. After that I pretty much marathon-bought their studio albums. I went V2.0 -> NYKOP -> BLM -> Self titled -> BG and I actually ended up loving BG the most. If I were to rank them i'd say BG>V2.0>Self-titled>NYKOP>BLM, but each album is really good regardless of how I rank them. I'm in my last year of highschool now. They were my first favourite band that I'd gone out of my way to discover on my own, and they're my all time favourite band still today. I emphasized band because the first musician that I really got into on my own was Jenny Owen Youngs. And yeah the remastered debut would be cool for RSD, but I'd be super happy if it was the lead single of the new album!

And also the red dots next to 11 of the songs shows they've at least provisionally chosen the songs to make the final cut. Woop woop. I really hope This is the end is just a song and not a reflection on their career!! Since we're now in 2015 I've getting super hyped :-D I never noticed the red dots!
