hmmm...i'm also slightly confused. it's been at least a decade since i've read them, haha. we're just gonna do this:
************SPOILERS*****************
lightning is the one where a woman and her son are on the run from...someone, i forget who. and time travel comes into play.
*************end spoilers*******************
not sure if i've read night chills or not...god, it has be quite some time. i do remember watchers, though, that was another favorite. and i also remember door to december rather distinctly. that one was slightly disturbing.
oh, and what's his series (series? i guess there were only two, last i knew; i was hoping he'd write more) about the guy who can only go out at night? and there's something involving a community gone...mutant or something.
i buzz through books too quickly, and then i forget everything...

Very cool! I heard both books are better than the films. I actually saw bits of Fight Club on youtube, then decided to read, but yeah, I was blown away by the book.

Really, I must check it out.
I hate reading a book, after watching the film because you just picture the actors as the characters and leaves nothing to the imagination.

Really, I must check it out. I hate reading a book, after watching the film because you just picture the actors as the characters and leaves nothing to the imagination. Make sure to pick up Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There. It's more of the same random goodness.
