I don't see how they're winning, I mean the only songs I've heard from them are "Dreams" and "Zombie" and I like those, but I don't see how they can beat The Carpenters....but whatever...I'll live well if you heard those 2 then you've heard everything from them. what they did next was a rip-off of everything they had already done. in my honest opinion of course

mmmmmmmmmmk. The Clash were a semial punk band that inspired many many musicians from The Foo Fighters to even U2. Their music was more than a sound it was also a political statement. Not sure what legacy The Carpenters or The Cranberries laid down, but it was no where as big or as important than The Clash or Johnny Cash on that list. Preach it sister!

Y'know, I was thinking, how did we miss the likes of Cream, Eric Clapton, or even Alice Cooper in this listing? Of course I had a fairly good oldies teacher.

Well Lisa. We all get one shot at making a nomination. Looks like the other "kids" forgot about the classics.

It's Colleen's poll. You could always PM and ask her. The last couple of polls have ended when the votes have stagnated for a week or so.

We really should make like a closing date for the polls. Does this mb have that option? Like you have only "X" amount of days to vote then the poll is locked.

Also maybe for each new poll we could see what the winners from the previous polls were. Like type up the winners in the post underneath the new poll. BTW who were they for the last polls? Wasn't it The Beatles and Abba?

Colleens been putting the winners at the top of the nomination threads for the next letter. I don't think you can make it a autiomatically timed poll either. You have to manually stop it.
