My tentative plans are for New Years Eve to go to The Parlour Club. Details of the party are on the right side of the page. Scarlett is putting on a big gig there. New Years Day I may go down and watch The Rose Parade in person. I was in it twice (1979, 1980) in the LA City Schools All City Marching Band.

I think it has to do with all of the excitment and/or depression that goes along with them.

My grandfather(father side) died four days after I was born. And my grandmother (mother side) died the day before my birthday in 94. My great grandfather (father side) died about a month or two after I was born and I was born in December.
Happy new year, everyone.... *sarcasm*
Tragedies aside, I'm spending the evening at home with my brother. First I'm going to my grandmother's (fatherside, only living grandparent) for dinner and then I'll probably go home and play Lord Of The Rings RISK with my brother. It's darker here than at my grandmother's so I'd have a better view of the fireworks here. Plus I've got 15 rockets to launch myself. Some middle sized, some pretty huge. It'll be fun. All I need to do now is get hold of a cigar.

Relaxing... going to the psychologist... and then doing school work... then this weekend I might go to the movies with a friend or two... Not a lot in other words. It's nice to do nothing

new year.... it's too much of a big deal for me.... too much pressure to "have fun". just makes me want to stay home and not have to deal with people.

I'm with the guest. Too much pressure to be happy and have fun. I shall be revising again (why do they schedule exams straight after the holiday period? Nazis...)

Hello da fiend. Got any melodramatic, dubious e-mail confessions to rival mine? Come on it's only fair that you make a twat of yourself after I did...

I have to write two essays on the Arab-Israeli conflict. It is interesting but my method of revision has always been to anticipate the question...write several essays and commit them to memory...I can't do bullet points and other methods. So it's like learning Hamlet's soliloquey or something...just fucking tedious.

hey i'm sure i've made a twat of myself often enough... i thought it was dead sweet that you're looking out for me like that anyway. i'm probably just suffering from always wanted a big sister syndrome though...

I was talking to He Who Cannot Be Publically Named the other day....may have judged him too harshly...after all I do have a tendency to paranoia...Anyhow I strongly advise you NEVER to take any advice from Auntie Sarah. After all I haven't been too successful in my own personal life... At the moment I'm assiduously avoiding revising...But I'll have to go back to it soon enough...Dog-sitting again tonight. What are you doing?
