Was nice to hear 'As Heaven Is Wide' and 'Cup of Coffee' again... as well as the return of the extended YLSF outro w/Shirl on guitar. Also, Shirley looming over Butch, screaming at him to "make the beats go harder!" during Push It.
I was just struck by how great they sounded. And it was nice to see Steve get three or four words into the mic; even though no one could really hear him. If anyone did, I'd love to know what he was saying.

I love crowd shots, and I do more than my fair share of standing in line all day for shows myself. ;D
Such an awesome show this weekend - loved it.

I'm a beginner but my new thing that I'm working on is crowd interaction shots. I've been lucky to have seen Garbage a lot this tour so it is more interesting to me to get shots of the band playing to the crowd when they are at the front of the stage. Some day I will get good enough to feel comfortable requesting a photo pass but until then, its practice, practice, practice at smaller shows where I can bring my SLR.

Jason, I'm glad you got Chloe jumping the rail next to me, then sitting and standing on it. No one believed me who wasn't there.

That was an awesome moment! Almost as good as when she climbed up and jumped off the speakers. such a great opening act.

She was so full of energy! I felt like a scared mother hoping to God she didn't fall and hurt herself. Haha! I was pretty disappointed that Io Echo wouldn't be opening for this show, but after their set, I was quite pleased.

She was so full of energy! I felt like a scared mother hoping to God she didn't fall and hurt herself. Haha! A few of us had JUST met Chloe's mother before the show so all I could think about was "Her poor mother! I bet they had a lot of ER visits when she was a toddler." I had seen Kitten open for The Joy Formidable a few weeks before the show so I knew what to expect but still...That speaker stack was tall! And she wasn't wearing shoes!
