just read that eric avery will be leaving his gig as touring bass player for the band after the upcoming north american dates. he's been invited to jin the new lineup of nine inch nails. makes me wonder if there will be more shows after that and if there is how much time it'll take to break somebody in. good luck to him. he's done a great job on the last two tours.

Duke said during one of the New Zealand interviews it was North America, maybe some festivals in Europe and then back to work on a new record. Will be interesting to see if Daniel S(I'm not gonna spell it right)man or Justin Medal Johnson might join them for any festivals.
I think they should get JMJ just because he played with NIN before. It could be a movie....Trading Basses. Sorry. Really bad joke.

Eric will definitely be missed! However, I love NIN so I am excited about that as well.

NIN, I read, will start touring later on this this year and more extensively next year, so we shall see how that all ties up with Garbage.
As a side note, I'm going to have to try catching G in Europe this year now, having not been able to go to the US at the end of the month. Miss the shows.

Could do a live version of that mash up. That'd be cool.

Wonder if they'd ever tour together.... I would DIE of excitement if they do - my two most favourite bands... it seems quite unlikely though
