S/T: Vow (Vow is just vicious, dissonant and full of vitriol. I love the rabid delivery, the angst...)
Version 2.0: The Trick Is To Keep Breathing (TTITKB flows with ethereal hopeful longing, a tenderness. Beautifully melancholic.)
Beautifulgarbage: Breaking Up The Girl (BUTG has an addicting riff, reversed notes and is infinitely catchy. The song sticks, and I enjoy the sardonic delivery about keeping the chin up)
Bleed Like Me: Boys Wanna Fight (Hard rocking, political rump shaker. Enough said.)
Not You Kind Of People: Control (Angry, Sad, reluctant...feels like a follow up to TTITKB, but after a bitter resolution)
B-Side: Never Be Free (An all time favorite song in the catalogue of all Garbage songs. Has every element that's most remarkable of Garbage's best songs)

S/T: Supervixen --- the beginning of something amazing ("A hit is hard to resist and I never miss / I can take you out with just the flick of my wrist") 2nd place: Vow --- I remember listening to this repeatedly when I was 12 or 13. I was obsessed with the into alone. V 2.0: Push It --- great single, great music video. One that I always come back to. 2nd place: Temptation Waits --- the beginning of more amazing-ness BG: Cherry Lips (Go Baby Go) --- how can anyone resist this? Pure fun. 2nd place: Silence is Golden - love the guitars and Shirley's vocals on this one BLM: Metal Heart --- A personal affirmation that rocks ("I want to be dependable / I want to be courageous and good / I want to be faithful so that I can be heroic and true / I want to be your friend you can rely on / You can lean on and trust / I want to understand so I can forgive / And be willing to love") 2nd place: Bad Boyfriend - this song is just a lot of fun and rocks! NYKOP: Haha, like I can pick one! How about four?! ASH - great for the dance floor, Control - great for angst, Sugar - great when you want to chill but still be memorized, MOAW - great for when you need to rock 2nd place: I Hate Love, BFP, BBW B-Side: Trip My Wire --- especially LIVE 2nd place: Never Be Free or Soldier Through This All Time Favorite: Love Like Suicide --- kidding!!!  |

Version 2.0: You Look So Fine (This was a tough decision between TTITKB, YLSF and Medication)
Beautifulgarbage: Cup of Coffee (I didn't really like this one until about a year ago. I saw a live video from Japan or something and now I'm in love.)
Bleed Like Me: Run Baby Run
Not You Kind Of People: Beloved Freak (Few songs have ever provoked an emotional response in me like this song. My favorite may change after I've had more time to digest the album. Honorable mention: Control)
B-Side: All the Good in This Life (Honorable Mention: Trip My Wire)
All Time Favorite: Queer
