DEBUT: Only Happy When It Rains, specially the live version, it's so rocker and raw and headbanger. Even more the bleed like me tour versión with the "oh, oh, oh, oh, oh" in the end. VERSION 2.0: The Trick is to Keep Breathing. I even dedicated that song of a very beloved friend of mine. BG: Cherry Lips: First I meet the band with androgyny and I loved it but when Cherry Lips came out and I heard it on the radio for the very first time I could not believe it, that was exactly the band and kind of music that matches with me, I loved it and I wouln't tell you how cause is a very long story but the song and that album changed my life in so many ways, some good and othe not that good. Anyway Cherry Lips is my choice and forever and ever and in the whole world and universe till the erfjernfu34hteruvr the song of my life. BLEED LIKE ME: Run Baby Run. Have you ever walked at metro stations in your city listening to it in very hight volume??? NYKOP: When the previews came: Beloved Freak, when the album leaked: Man on a Wire, days later: ASH, since yesterday: Felt, I don't know tomorrow.

I can't do just one for each album, but anyway... G - Supervixen, Queer, Stupid Girl (I especially like the interpolation of the drum beat from Train In Vain by The Clash) 2.0 - I Think I'm Paranoid, Push It, You Look So Fine. BG - Probably Cherry Lips, but there isn't really a stand out song on this album for me. BLM - Again, no real stand outs for me but the ones I listen to the most are Run Baby Run and Why Do You Love Me? B-Side - Subhuman and #1 Crush.
Overall I would have to say Push It and I Think I'm Paranoid are my favourite songs, not only because are they terrific songs but they have excellent accompanying videos as well.

I think there are wonderful songs on BG and BLM: BG - Shut Your Mouth, Androgony, Can't Cry These Tears Anymore, Cup of Coffee, Silence Is Golden, Chrry Lips, Breaking Up The Girl, Drive You Home, Nobody Loves You, Parade.... BLM - Why Do You Love Me, Bad Boyfriend, All Over But The Crying, Boys Wanna Fight, Sex Is Not The Enemy, Run Baby Run, Right Between The Eyes, Happy Home, Metal Heart, Bleed Like Me... I think both albums are kind of underrated, especially BLM. BG was a bit experimental, poppy but BLM (prior to their hiatus was loved at the time) was and is a killer album too

But I'll also add Metal Heart and Boys Wanna Fight to my list. They sound killer live.

Garbage: Vowmy all-time favourite Garbage track. nuff said. at the time, I would find myself looping A Stroke of Luck often. it's a close second, for nostalgia alone. Version 2.0: Medicationas I stated in the 'least favourite tracks' thread, I'm not as hot on V2.0 as most folk. Medication, however, has a personal relevance. chalk it up to nostalgia, again. beautifulgarbage: ParadeParade. oh, Parade. by a country fucking mile, Parade. never any question. right up there with Vow. (honourable mention for Androgyny. natch.) Bleed Like Me: Happy Hometricky one to call, because there's a little mini playllist I have that owes quite the debt to BLM. it's a very personal, 'of the time' thing, and yet again invokes the nostalgia demon. Run Baby Run, Right Between The Eyes and the title track are all right up there, too, for what its worth. BLM is a very important album to me. Not Your Kind Of People: Automatic Systematic Habitthis is probably the most difficult to admit to, because I both like and dislike the track in question. when G first released their 'comeback' teasers, of which this was the first, that little riff stayed with me throughout. I loved it then, and I love it even more in its fully realised form. lyrically, however, I do not overly care for it. there are certainly better lyrics on the album. BUT. regardless of my issues with Shirley's words, the song itself refuses to leave my head. and I can't see that changing. b (g?) side: ...?I don't think I can pick just one. I've tried, but there are just too many that mean too much. so here's a list: #1 Crush ( so glad they resurrected this! loved seeing it live last week!) Butterfly Collecter (one of the best cover versions ever) Happiness Pt.2 Sex Never Goes Out Of Fashion April Tenth Witness To Your Love (not technically a b-side, granted... but as a non-album track, I'm including it) overall: has to be Vow. with Parade literally right behind, breathing down its neck. ;D

Man. This is tough. Okay so... Garbage: Vow - The guitars here are just perfect (as are the vocals, of course.) This was sort of the song that "sold" Garbage for me, so I love it for that reason, as well.) V2.0 - Push It (It's just such an incredible song. I love the intensity of it.) BG - Shut Your Mouth (Really for the same reason as Push It.) BLM - Boys Wanna Fight (My personal favorite Garbage song of all time. I just love it and always have.) NYKOP - Sugar (I was torn here because I also love "The One," but Sugar won out in the end because, I'm obsessed with that chorus! Hah.) B-Sides - Lick the Pavement (I've just always loved this one for some reason!)

This is much harder than the least favorite, because I like far more songs than I dislike.
Garbage - Stupid Girl I'm actually semi-sick of it lately, but that's because it was such a huge favorite for so long I overplayed it. Vow, Supervixen, Queer, & A Stroke of Luck are favorites too. See, that's like half the album ...
V2.0 - Temptation Waits This one never really gets old for me. The lyrics are PERFECT too. You Look So Fine is a close second, and then TTITKB, HIMH,
BG - Cherry Lips Immediate favorite & it has held up over time. I also like Androgyny, SIG, & CCTT.
BLM - Run Baby Run I liked it at first, but it continued to grow over time too. Sex Is Not the Enemy & Bad Boyfriend are faves too. I think Happy Home is seriously underrated.
NYKOP - Man on a Wire Right now that's my fave, tied with Felt probably. I like the lyrical imagery, the energy of it, the post-punk style, the vocals, etc. Felt is just dreamy....I love the atmosphere it creates, but also how there's still this urgent emotion coming out of Shirley's voice. The bits of lyrics you catch are great.
Battle in Me has grown on me a lot too (I love the "shake it" part). ASH is great of course. I'm liking the whole album over all right now (can't wait to hear the deluxe edition bonus tracks Tuesday!).
B-side - Tell Me Where it Hurts (if that counts as a b-side?) OR Girl Don't Come There are so many great b-sides... I'm not sure if TMWIH one counts, or if #1 Crush counts, but they are definitely the top of the "non-album" tracks. I also like Lick the Pavement, Afterglow, and Honeybee a lot. Too many good ones!
I can't pick an over all favorite...much too hard.
