I cannot put them into a certain order, they all have their own place for me and all have many wonderful memories. NYKOP definitely sits very nicely in with the other 4, thats for sure.

I am also part of minority.... 1 version 2.0 2 nykop 3 bg/garbage 4 bleed like me I see the last album like a v3.0 Beautiful garbage its different but it has masterpieces like nobody loves you or so like a rose, I couldn't place debut album in 4th place because is also a very good one. Again it's hard to be objective when I've only had 2 weeks if that to fully digest NYKOP. But I will say it will most likely become my third favourite album. The live renditions of the 4 new songs went down a treat last night at Troxy. 1. Version 2.0 2. Garbage 3. Beautifulgarbage / NYKOP 4. BLM Im clearly in the minority - still believe BG is a much better record than BLM. BLM was too safe and sonically bland though WDYLM is one of my fav tracks from G. BG is flawed certainly but I love the experimentation and has some of the best ballads at least on there. Always stood by that record even when BLM was out and everyone was bashing it. Sent from my WT19a using ProBoards

This is a difficult ask,
1. Garbage 2. Version 2.0 3. Beautiful garbage 4. Not your kind of people 5. Bleed Like Me
1-4 are pretty much equal, I'm not too keen on BLM, the only songs that aren't generic rock and actually sound like Garbage are Bad Boyfriend, WDYLM, Metal Heart and Happy Home. Strangely though, I love all the B sides to that album

You think Boys Wanna Fight and WDYCO sound like generic rock? Along with Metal Heart, they're the only songs on the album with that trademark G production and thus sound!!!

I still don't get why BLM is so low on a lot of fan's rankings...
So many classic Garbage songs...Bad Boyfriend, Run Baby Run, WDYLM, BLM, Metal Heart, SINTE, Happy Home...

1. V2.0 2. G 3. BG/BLM/NYKOP To me it's easy to say Version 2.0 is their best, I have listened to that album hundreds and hundreds of times yet it still resonates with me deeply and continues to give me chills and immerse me EVERY TIME! it could quite well be my favourite album ever. The debut is obviously an amazing 90's alternative gem, the reason why it's not my #1 is because I don't feel as personally relatable to the songs as I do with V2.0. As for the albums after the first two, I love them all and can't pick between them because they're all fantastic in their own way. But the first two are flawless

Although I have to give kudos to NYKOP for stitching together the sound of ALL their previous albums.

1. Beautiful Garbage 2. Version 2.0 3. Garbage 4. Not Your Kind of People 5. Bleed Like Me
While I think Version 2.0 is their strongest, most cohesive album, Beautiful Garbage is by far my favorite. It's the album I return to the most since it's home to several of my favorite Garbage tracks. I love the variety, and I think it really shows off the band's wonderful range.

1. Garbage & Version 2.0. 2. Not Your Kind Of People 3. Beautiful Garbage 4. Bleed Like Me
I had to put the debut and 2.0 both in the #1 spot because to me, choosing between them is like asking to choose which of your children you favour - it just can't be done! I love them both equally. While there are some great songs on BG and BLM, I feel as though on BG they tried to be too many things at once, and their sound changed drastically to the point where I think many long-time fans felt as though it didn't really sound like Garbage. Shirley's image changed too - her red hair was so iconic and the change to the short blonde Tin-Tin-esque 'do she had exemplified the shift in Garbage's sound. BLM honestly felt a bit lacklustre, the kind of album a band puts out when they've lost the passion. Coincidently, it was their last album of original material before they went on a indefinite hiatus'. Still, these are just my opinions and everyone is going to feel differently about each album.

1. Beautiful Garbage 2. Version 2.0 3. Garbage 4. Not Your Kind of People 5. Bleed Like Me Holy Crap! That's exactly how I rank them! Beautifulgarbage is an eclectic masterpiece that best showcases both Garbage's maturity as a band and Shirley Manson's deep, introspective lyrics. I will always love this album and consider it to be the pinnacle of experimental pop rock. Garbage has always had a unique sound, but there is nothing that sounds remotely like Beautifulgarbage as far as I can tell. Version 2.0 is pure pop-electro-rock awesomeness in a record with a great ballad at the end, but I still consider BG to be their masterpiece. I'd refer to this one as their "classic" record and the one I'd recommend to friends (beautifulgarbage is a bit too broad to recommend to just anyone) Garbage is a great debut record and most bands don't release their best work on their first album so it's ok that the debut isn't the best. I hate having to rank NYKOP so low; it's still a really good album. It's just not quite as solid as the first three but it's still better than the vast majority of stuff that I heard released in 2012. While I find people rank BG low because of it being too different from their other work (which I think is a dumb excuse not to like it IMHO), I find the criticism that Bleed Like Me is too typical to be a fair criticism. It still has the best album-ender of any garbage album, but there's just not enough variety on this record. Even though it's still good, this album just seems a little too easy for Garbage.
