Anyone else have some new artists to share. I have really gotten into this girl from Tennessee. Her name is Katie Kerkhover. She kinda has a hint of Paramore in her music, but she sounds really good. I also like the Gorrilaz new album

Mini Mansions. Started listening to them once I knew they were supporting Spinnerette. They're a completely different band live, but in a good way. Both versions of the band's songs are really good. Their recorded sound is more of an acoustic, relaxing sound, and when they're live they just beef it up and rock it, and it sounds just as good or even better. Just wish they had both styles recorded so you could listen to them to suit your mood.

Oh man.... I just got into Collide. They have a really amazing covers album out right now. They're a "dark" band...electronic with goth and industrial type music and pretty amazing female vocals. Buy direct from the band here: www.collide.net/www.noiseplusmusic.com/store/I bought the covers album, These Eyes Before, and their latest "regular" album, Two Headed Monster, in a bundle. This is why you should buy from them and not elsewhere... The discs came in your standard bubble wrap envelope, but inside, they wrapped them in black tissue paper. They also included stickers and promo material for some other bands AND (this is the best part) they included a little thank you card signed by both band members. Totally awsome. Much love for Collide now. For like $5 extra, you can get the albums signed.

thepowkid - Collide's cover of Creep by Radiohead gave me shivers. That is a great example of how a cover should be done. I couldn't find that one on YouTube, but here's their YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/noiseplus

The Golden Filter, Marina And The Diamonds, Class Actress, Daedelus. Yes! Marina and the Diamonds! The record is not out in the states yet so I have a total of four songs by her, but love them all. Do you have the album Andy, is it as good as I hope? Some great new bands I'm loving are Holly Miranda, Final Fantasy now known as Owen Pallett, Ellie Goulding

The majority of the album tracks are arguably better than the singles she has released so far. Took me a while to warm to her voice but after a few listens I realised that the album sounds great as a whole, entire piece. Definetly worth buying!

I've started listening to Hockey. They're not really new, they've been together for a while but their first album, Mind Chaos, came out at the end of last year.
