So, first Shirley modifies the lyrics of this song at the end of Vow in concert ("I want a lover I don't have to love, I want a girl who's too sad to give a fuck", and "I want a lover I don't have to love, I want a boy who's so drunk he doesn't talk" were the original lines, for anyone who does not know this song) - and not only that, but just listen to the song! Uncanny resemblance to this song in In the Snow...especially the piano tracks, not to mention the overall tone of the song and lines such as "Pressing hard against your jeans Your tongue in my mouth" I think Shirley really likes this song. ;D link just in case: www.youtube.com/watch?v=iuXkhE0VMcw

In The Snow sounds like a mix between Lover I Don't Have To Love and a Tim Burton film (so Danny Elfman score I guess) but it's not so influenced that it's stale in any way and thats why I love it so fucking much.
Btw what did Shirl change the lines too? I don't think I've heard that live version of Vow.
I love your username. I wish it was still the 90s.

It's the Rockpalast version, the one where she sings Maps by the YYY's at the end? Right before she goes into that part. She changes it to "I need a lover I don't hate to love, I need a lover who's so drunk he cannot fuck." imho that line is better than the original ones... Yeah, Danny Elfman has kind of a dark winter-y style in some of his music so I guess it works well for In the Snow. 90's ftw
