My very first wallpaper. I spent a great deal of time with the pen tool and I think it's a decent start. Something simple to celebrate my love for "You Look So Fine" (as if my tattoo wasn't enough).

Pretty good for a first time job. I like the colors and the simplicity of the design. Probably my only criticism is that you should have made the silhouette's smoother. I know that the original image is exactly like your silhouette, but to someone that has never seen the original the image will like sloppy.
Also, next time try using the eraser tool. It can cut stuff faster and with more precision than with the pen tool.

Nice...i like simple wallpapers so my desktop isn't "cluttered" looking. Also, next time try using the eraser tool. It can cut stuff faster and with more precision than with the pen tool. A more pro way would be to use the magnetic lasso tool, make a mask from the selection, and use the paintbrush tool to touch up the mask. That way, any error can be easily corrected and the original image isn't irreversibly altered.
