Some of you must have seen this show. I just saw it today for the first time ever, and the music is just amazing. It's so well performed! Lovely. However......... the crowd looked completely dead.... and Shirley's obviously having a bad day. She's so angry..! In Stupid Girl she even roars (very angrily). She doesen't smile until just before I Think I'm Paranoid, which is the third last song or something.

Yeah the crowd actually is very good for that show...all those festival shows from 1998 were great I have the DVD
Now Roskilde 2002? That's a dead crowd
I hate how sometimes bootleg CDs don't show just how loud Garbage's audiences usually are--it sort of misrepresents it
I think a lot depends on sound quality

Before dark it's clear that it's only the mosh pit that goes nuts. The others are just standing there, enjoying the music. I've seen wilder crowds, experienced wilder crowds.

For example, Australians are supposedly more reserved, and the Japanese go completely mad.

I know, every crowd responds differently. Some are more reserved than others.
