Just a quick question for those of you going to American gigs: If you ordered your tix of ticket master, how long did it take for you to get them (for those f you who used the standard mail option)? I haven't gotten mine yet and I'm getting nervous

For what show and when did you order them? They sent mine out within a couple weeks. They say you'll have the ticket within 48 hrs of the event, though, and if you don't you can send them an e-mail and they'll help you out.

I ordered tickets from Ticketmaster for the LA show and it was at least 3 weeks and closer to 4. I was starting to get nervous myself and that is exactly when they showed up.

My boyfriend called ticketmaster today (he's getting the tickets for my birthday present) and it turns out they mailed them over a MONTH AGO! Apparently, they might be able to work something out so that we can still go. I hope so, cause if not, I'm gonna fucking cry. I've been waiting 7 years for this show.
In any event, let this be a lesson to you. If you haven't gotten your tickets and it's getting closer and closer to your show date, call ticketmaster.

they BETTER work something out for you. That's bullshit when stuff gets lost in the mail. i've had that happen.
do you think you maybe threw it out thinking it was junk mail? I almost did that once--the envelope they send it in is unmarked.

The tickets were headed to my bf's house. He orders tix a lot, so he knows what to look out for. Plus, every other day I've asked him "did they come?!" He's going to look through his stuff one more time, but we are both pretty sure they just did not get delivered.
Ticketmaster has a whole webpage dedicated to this kind of thing, so I am assuming it happens quite a bit. Here's hoping the post office is just REALLY slow this month or tmaster can work something out with us.

And the scatterbrain of the week award goes to...
*drumroll please*
My man, who lumped the tickets in with a stack of important letters and left it there. Until tonight when he called to say "Guess what I found?"
And I thought I was a ditz!
Anway, I'm going to the Detroit show. Looks like I'm the only one on the board, so I'll make sure to give you guys a review.
