Foo Fighters would not headline over Garbage. Coldplay will headline obviously. Good Charlotte is basically over, so I'd say FF and G will probably be the 2nd headliners. Foo Fighters have to be the biggest band here so they will either headline or be co-headlining with Coldplay. Good Charlotte are HUGE in the Baltimore/DC area so they'll also probably play after Garbage.

um I see they updated the image
It's pretty depressing that Billy Idol is playing higher on the bill than Garbage. wtf is this shit? Are we barely one step above Interpol? Damn.

Dave Grohl is from the DC area too. um I see they updated the image It's pretty depressing that Billy Idol is playing higher on the bill than Garbage. wtf is this shit? Yeah, Dave is a VA boy...my brother works at a music shop in Old Town Alexandria and he goes in there all the time. Great guy. They also used to share a practice space in Falls Church (my bro is a musician as well). So there's my random Foo connection ;D Anyhow, I would love to see Dave come out and jam with G on Bad Boyfriend, and 100 bucks says it will happen. That will be f'ing great. FF are always awesome when they play they festival; I've seen them there..twice I believe. They always add a high energy set to the show. As for GC, I know they're from MD and all but I wasn't aware of a big fanbase in this area. I could be wrong as I try and ignore their existence as much as possible, but I thought their popularity was dissipating anyway. Ah well. Regardless of who headlines or how long Garbage's set is, as long as they're on the main stage which they obviously will be, I am just thrilled that they'll be there at all.

Foo Fighters have 4 straight platinum albums; of course woudl they headline over Garbage. Coldplay has had two double platinum albums recently; it would be between those two. Garbage has not enjoyed great popularity since '99.

see, I've never thought of FF as that big. I mean none of their albums, thought they have gone platinum, have sold as much as V2.0 or the debut, and their last album sold 875k. So ignoring the fact that BG flopped and that Garbage is on the brink of being big again, I figured they would be headliners by default, or at least CO-headliners.

well unlike Garbage, I hear FF on the radio and on MTV all the time. Sure Garbage can small clubs out, but they don't have that massive appeal they used. Its just a fact.

also HFStivals are notorious for putting woman fronted bands on kinda early. It irritates me. Last year the Donnas played in the MORNING!!! BEFORE OAR for christsakes.

Actually WHFS is back on the air, somewhat. They share a station with a talk radio station, 105.7. They're on nights and weekends.
The weird thing is that a Philly station, WYSP, is giving tickets away to the WHFS show. It's weird hearing Garbage being mentioned on a station that doesn't play them.

How can you see FF on MTV all the time when they haven't had an album out for over 2 years? Garbage is limited to small clubs now? Gimme a break. Garbage may not be as big as they were in 1999 again yet but they are definitely more popular now than they were with BG.

How can you see FF on MTV all the time when they haven't had an album out for over 2 years? erm you know what I mean. Meaning when ever they do have something released, their videos are in constant rotation. lol Did I say that? I SAID THAT THEY HAVE NO PROBLEM selling out small clubs thats all. I never said they were limited to only playing them. Not sure why you are so defensive about where G stands in the mainstream, it seems to really stress you out. Tis weird.

It's not me, it's the OCD, and if you don't have it, it's hard to understand that. Sometimes certain things drive me up the wall, and right now this is it.

Woohoo..im a Va boy to and im going. There are a lot of cool bands, I want to see Garbage (well no shit), FF, Interpol, Unwritten law, Social Distortion, and Muse.
