The Philly show is completely sold out...it sold out in less than 5 minutes. The only way to get tix now is through ebay or a broker. Weird news: Y100, the station that is sponsoring this special show and one of the biggest rock stations in the country, has been (VERY) suddenly pulled off the air, replaced by an urban station. This is a tragedy for anyone near Philly...you can protest at www.y100rocks.comI don't know what the station is going to do with all those G tix they were going to give away ...I'm hoping they can release them to the public.

this is eerily similar to what happened down here in D.C./Maryland with WHFS being replaced by a spanish radio station. I'm sure you guys up there in Philly know what I'm talking about. WHFS has been on the air for 30 years playing rock and then one day, they were gone. Garbage even played the WHFStival and Nutcracker show.

I don't know what I'm gonna do. The prices on ebay are $125. I don't have that kind of money to spend on aything, even Garbage tickets. I need to lay down, I feel like I'm gonna have an aneurism.

I just read today in RS that MTV2 is changing it's format to all rock and hip-hop...mostly hip-hop. And the rock will be oriented towards males. We won't have the mishmash we did before, when you might see a Muse video and then a Pumpkins video right after it.
They are still supposed to play Garbage's video, though, so whatever.

Seen the cover of the current Wired? click hereRadio is in deep doodoo. Satellite and cable radio stations have made their mark, and not in a positive way for good old fashion radio.
