I agree with all except Velvet Revolver. derivative bullshit. I wish people stopped equating skill with talent... Scott & Slash are very skilled musicians... but quite like Dream Theater, the sum of its components falls short of what it could be.
I loved Slash in Gn'R. I hated Scott in STP. they should cancel each other out, but they don't... they join forces to become one big annoying entity.

PJ's last album is excessively dull and boring to me. How bout those seagulls ? I liked it. It is the album that turned me on to PJ...yes I know a little late. But I am anxious to pick up her recent. I am hesitant on the Velvet Revovler cd tho. I just saw them live and it was amazing. Scott Weiland is fantastic frontman his vocals were amazing and Slash, Duff and the rest of the band were on point. They played a cover of Nirvana (negative creep), a few GnR songs and a few Stp songs. Scott seemed like he was trying to fill some hole.

I think you should get it...it's been getting great reviews, and it's a lot better than 90% of the crap out there.
I love Scott's sexy, snaky dance moves.

PJ Harvey's Uh Huh Her is fucking brilliant. It's a fantastic piece of work that really shows off her talent as a musician, song writer and producer. I am so proud of her and this record. It's amazing. It's simplicity is beautiful.
