I would hope it'd atleast make the Top 10, but I'm predicting it will be at around #5.
Is it that wishful or realistic thinking?

Well BG did 13, and sold 70,000 copies. Having released in april instead of october it would have certianly be in th etop ten. BLM is expecte dto sell 100-150k, so therefore, it could enter the top 10 or 5.

#78 now
that's awesome considering the release is 3 1/2 weeks away
BG peaked at #12 on Amazon I think
it's obvious this will go higher

it's important to understand that the ranking changes hourly
it doesn't mean the album is suddenly less popular, just that the buying trends were different that hour. It's not a big deal. The fact that it's even in the Top 100 this early is amazing.
QOTSA still isn't and their album is out in 10 days.
Now this is an outside chance, very outside, but wouldn't be weird if G ended up outselling Mariah in the first week? I mean, that probably won't happen because she has a lot of hardcore fans that even bought Glitter and some TRL support, etc, but I have a weird feeling G might be giving her some run for her money. Even Mariah fans are fearing this.
When you think about it, G and Mariah are somewhat in the same position. Both have very obsessive, hardcore fanbases who really want the new albums to do well, because they fear it might be the last chance to prove something. In some ways, Mariah is in worse shape because she has had 2 or so flopped albums now, whereas G has one, and they weren't in public disgrace for a year like she was. But anyway, both artists are trying very hard for a comeback, and both are succeeding to a degree, Garbage maybe more than Mariah, but we won't really know until the albums come out.
For her sake, I hope her album doesn't bomb. But it would be awesome if Garbage did end up outselling her or at least coming close in sales.
