Doesn't it sound somewhat like U2's "in The Name Of Love"? At least the last part does....when she says "Stay alive my love"...at least to me...heh

yeah..I was listening to RBTE today and I thought the same. She really sings "Stay alive my love" very similar way Bono sings in Pride (In The Name of Love)

I just can't get into this song. I end up skipping over it, pretty most of the time. It's just too BG for me I guess. Hopefully it'll grow on me though, it's still early days.

what does "too BG" mean?

It means, they most likely, IMHO, dont know wha theyre talking about. Theyre trying to say it's poppy. It's not, it's more new wave.

I'm not sure yet really why I make that connection.. I think it's just that everytime I hear RBTE it reminds me, at least lyrically, of BUTG. Also, it's a poppier track than Bad Boyfriend and Run Baby Run which come before it. Not sure if it'd make a difference.. but, this was the first track the band penned, and apparently they did so in half an hour. Maybe they were in more of a BG frame of mind at this earlier stage? Everything that came afterwards, was heavier after all.. Anyway, that's just my opinion of the track,

if u dont even like the song that much, why is ur s/n reflecting it? it's not pop, IMO, it's new wave. i kinda see what u mean with BUTG, but i dont agree.

Actually, I chose my username before I heard the song. I guess it was just chance that RBTE happened to be one of the songs I didn't take to. Anyway, fair enough if you don't agree.. it's all subjective. There's still a chance that the song might grow on me over time.

I was singing to that part today " stay alive my love" and my brother told me that i was wrong with that U2 song "pride". So you're not the only one ShirleyManson Lover.
Remember that garbage did that cover before but i'm not trying to say they took it from it. i think is just a simple coincidence.
