IT's NOT the way it appears to be in commercials...it's not all satire
It's pretty good though
Mandy was good, for once

I don't really have a problem with her
she used to want to fit in with the Britneys
now she just doesn't care
she's gone to the indie film circuit, and it seems to work for her

Actually .. now she's wearing ..less? I'd say that how she dresses now she seems to fit better in the Britneys. -And yeah, I'm a fan of her waaaay back when she released "Candy"-

My sister saw Saved. She said it was good but she didn't seem too impressed by it. I want to see it anyway. I keep hearing how great Mandy Moore is in it. I wonder if Shirley's changed her mind about her. I remember back during the teen pop craze, Shirley said in a diary she'd like to smack Mandy from here to next Tuesday (which might not be so bad it's Monday). But Mandy's gotten some respect from Hollywood now, I know I've changed my opinion of her, so maybe Shirley has too. Probably not, though.

A lot of times Shirley is too harsh on people
Mandy really didn't do anything to deserve that

I'm afraid that aside from recent films , she hasnt done much not to deserve that either huh ? I don't get if you are saying she DOES deserve it or she doesn't what did she ever do to deserve harsh words? She was like 15 when she came out. I mean come on.

Well, the only thing I don't like about Mandy Moore is her bubblegum pop image. Yet, some critics called her Coverage CD is more of a mature Mandy in exposing her other taste in music besides pop.
I just saw Saved on Hollywood 101... The host said it might be satire at all. Not for ridiculing Christian students for their religious fanatical crusade.
It might be funny after all.

i saw it last night, LOVED it. mandy did a good job, and i do have respect for her. she definitely has her own image, her own personality. her hair, though, in this movie. can't decide if i love it....or if it looked like white trash/femme mullet. at any rate, i think a lot of people need to see this move. it teaches lessons (and i mean that, not joking). plus, it's just hilarious.
i'm FILLED with the love of Jesus!! *hurls bible*

hahaha, don't laugh....i've done that. in all seriousness, though, i wouldn't think the movie wasn't so funny if the people weren't so bitcy. i'm christian (by name and religion), and i've been to conventions where there was a lot of the hand-raising, etc. it's not about how someone worhips, it's what thye do with their religions...like....not sending gays to be d-gayized and send pregnant girls away to give birth in secret. for these reasons, i had no problem cackling at these people the whole time.
i don't really do the hand-raising, etc etc...but i have no problem with folk who do, just as i hope others don't. so long as those folk don't get all bitchy and judgamental. but yes...cackling...
