Robert Louis Stevenson- The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde and after that I'll read Waverley by Walter Scott. They're my cousin's, he studied them as part of his Scottish lit course, so I'm trying to read them quickly so that I can give them back.

Bringing Down the House - Ben Mezrich...I actually just finished it. Pretty good, though I'm not that big on gambling...

the vampire lestat by anne rice (again). btweety, timeline is an AMAZING book. crichton fan? Tale of the Body Thief was probably my favorite out of books 1-5. I liked the Vampire Chronicle series, but I quit reading after The Vampire Armand. I just kind of grew bored with it all after that one. Currently, I'm reading IT for about the 5th time

the vampire lestat by anne rice (again). btweety, timeline is an AMAZING book. crichton fan? Yeah that was a great book, I really want to see the movie but it is kinda hard to come by. That was his first book I have ever read but I would love to read more now. But I have seen alot of the movies of his books. Do you have any recommendations?

yeah, after vampire armand (if you keep following with the "new vampire" chronicles) it gets slightly boring. but if you're a fan of the mayfair witches, she starts crossing the vampires and the witches soon after and it gets interesting...
as for crichton, yeah, timeline's a rather shitastic movie. not recommended. as for his books, jurassic park and the lost world are GREAT! (the lost world was a fuckin lame movie). i also liked airframe and disclosure. prey's not too bad, either.

So as for Nickel and Dimed by Barbara Ehrenreich I finished a few days ago and am thinking of starting in on Thomas Pynchon's masterwork Gravity's Rainbow
But on Nickel and Dimed you ALL should read it, if not for the sociological stastics and insights, for the over-educated authors insights and hilarious smart ass remarks. The book is gold, I rarely give rave reviews and five stars on books but this is one that once you start you become entranced with.
