Putting lots of words into the reply box doesn't mean you're speaking a language. It's spelt Sydney. It's not "spelt" dumbass. "Spelled" is the correct past tense of spell. |

Actually Lisa, you're wrong. "Spelled" is the past participle when one is to say "I have spelled" but "spelt" is the simple past so one says "it is spelt/it was spelt". "Spelled" is also very rarely used in British and Australian English so get your facts right next time girl, before you try to have a go at someone.
