After not hearing them on any LA radio station for close to 5 years. I fianlly heard them on JackFM (KCBS) 93.1 Of course it was V2.0 era Special. But hey, at least they got at least one song on the air in 5 years. Albeit I rarely listen to radio except in the car, which is rare in itself since I walk almost everywhere. Gas is way too expensive these days to drive everywhere that is within walking distance.

I know were talk'n bout terrestrial radio here, and I totally gave up listening to terrestrial radio when Don Imus was pulled off the air (I was, and I still am today an unapologetic "Imus Addict," so bite ...oh, I stand corrected, LMFAO... "whip" my ass). Where I live in eastern Maine, unless you have an FM antenna the size of an analog TV antenna mounted on the roof of your house with a rotary moter on the antenna to turn it, you will get shit for FM radio station selection and reception here in eastern Maine. There was only one popular music FM station here in eastern Maine that I could receive on a portable radio that I could tolerate listening to. They were playing rock'n'roll pop hits from the '50s to the '70s. They were carrying the "Imus in the Morning" show. When they pulled the plug on Imus, I pulled the plug on my portable radio on my nightstand. With that said, the only radio I listen now to here in eastern Maine is ... internet radio. And I go to Live365.com for my internet radio. At www.live365.com you'll find about a dozen more than 50 stations with Garbage on their playlist. If anyone on this board has a suggestion for a good internet radio site, I'd appreciate very much hearing about it here in "terrestrial radio impoverished" eastern Maine.

KROQ has played them on Flashback lunch, usually Stupid Girl. I remember hearing it when I had a college class in the afternoon that I had to commute to & I would listen to flashback lunch in the car. That was several years ago, but less than 5.
And WDYLM got play on KROQ too. I heard BLM on Indie 103.1 once.
I don't listen to the radio much -if at all anymore, except for Sirius satellite radio- but from what I have listened to they have gotten a little airplay. Alternative/rock radio sucks and plays few good bands and few female fronted bands. It's been awhile since regular radio was decent.

Sometime last year, I heard Vow on the flashback lunch here on our local rock station (now that was cool to hear Vow). A few months ago, I heard Queer on really late at night. It's really random that you hear them now, and it's rare that I have the radio on unless I'm in someone's car. There have been a few other times in the past year that I've heard them on the radio, but I don't even think I ever heard Tell Me Where It Hurts down here at all, just othr stuff from the first and second albums and #1 Crush.

Garbage doesn't really fit into the format of any of the Twin Cities stations now that Drive 105 is gone. They're not hard enougn for 93x (hard rock), not lame enough for Cities 97 (Clear Channel AAA), too popular for Radio K (U of MN radio) or The Current (MN public radio), and too recent for KQRS (classic rock).
Edit: Oh I forgot about Jack FM. That's probably the only station that would play them up here.

I miss Indie 103.1. I always listen to it when I'm out in California. Philly radio sucks.
