It's taken me forever to collect these. I have a few of their cd singles, but I don't really have the money to get them all. So I've pulled whatever I could off the net. I have to say that the beautifulgarbage b-sides are near impossible to find.
My goal now is to find all the cd singles (for cheap) and continue buying those. I think it's definitely worth for a majority of the b-sides and some of the remixes, but some cd singles just sell for a ridculous amount.
Just looking at amazon, the Subhuman cd singles sells for $30!!! It's an awesome song, but jeeze... it's a deterrent from buying these singles :/. Even paying $12 for a cd single is up there, but since it supports garbage, I suppose it's worth it. I'll buy all the cheap singles that sell for between 3$ to 5$ and then work my way up.
If anyone knows where to get these singles for cheap, PLEASE let me know.

Ok, yeah heheheh... but I mean, where can I PURCHASE these for cheap. Some I can get off Amazon for like, three dollars. But then there's the ones that sell for between $30 - $50.

I don't know where you're located but you could try www.gemm.com - this is like an online music marketplace and you can set the search limits to dealers within your area as well as overseas dealers, otherwise ebay usually have the basic singles available pretty cheaply.

Your best bet would be to stick with eBay and/or half.com (eBay affiliate). You can find singles for $3 to $4; however, these will be more common singles like When I Grow Up UK 1 and 2, Milk UK singles and actually most Version 2.0 singles. I am not exactly sure why, but most Beautifulgarbage singles tend to sell for more. Bottom line, be willing to at least spend $10 or more on most singles. The Subhuman single (I assume you are referring to the black embossed sleeve) price varies. On sites such as Gemm, it usually goes for $30-$45 USD. It is a fairly popular single and it is frequently posted on eBay. I have seen a stickered Subhuman single go for as little as $5 and as much as $50 and above. When I first starting collecting (which was a little over a year ago), I had purchased a non-stickered Subhuman single for $45 USD (being the dumbass that I was), but I was later able to find a stickered one for $15. Trust me, go for the stickered single...it is worth much more! Depending on the rarity of the single, be willing to spend some bucks. I am not exactly sure where you live; however, if you are in the US (like I am), good luck! Most of the singles that I have acquired have come from the UK and sometimes the shipping is as much as the CD. On average, to ship a CD from the UK to the US is about $4 to $5 USD. Another suggestion I can offer you is to try and find specialty music store websites. I have had the most luck finding rare singles this way. It is a time consuming process searching through various websites, but you can find some great deals sometimes. Check out this site which has listings of worldwide music stores: www.moremusic.co.uk/links/world_sh.htm. It is really fun collecting Garbage memorabilia and if you haven't, join the GarbageDisco forum. I am not spamming, it is just a great forum to help you with your collecting. But if you really want to get serious, be willing to spend my friend. Currently I have around 90 CD singles and I would guess that I have spend at least $1,500-$2,000 obtaining them. Those of us joining late in the game really end up spending more money. But that is just the way it goes....

Yeah, I only own 5 singles, and I lifted the rest of the b-sides off the net too. But I do hope to actually continue collecting them someday, I really enjoy physically having things, other than just mp3s on a computer. And the ones I have are pretty much all the ones iShark mentioned (WIGU 2, Milk 1, YLSF 1 & 2, Push It) which I think are all UK imports.

Too bad Garbage can't or won't (yet) do anything about releasing an entire b-sides collection cd. That would save all this headache . And I have a total of 36 b-sides. That's enough to release three albums! Granted, I think there are ACTUALLY 34 b-sides and then a performance of Supernatural and The World Is Not Enough (but I lump it all into the same category). But yeah, I really do like having the cds over digital media. You can't get better quality than cd.

I love collecting cd singles - moreso than vinyls or any other memorabilia. I was lucky - i bought out a whole shops wrth of Garbage singles when I started collecting in the little town where I live. I got Push It, You look so fine Cd1,ohwir, Androgyny Cd1 and 2, Cherry Lips 1, I think im paranoid, butg 1,2,3, sym 1,2 and 3, special cd1 and wigu1. I was so chuffed with all that lol. The rest came from amazon (paranoid2, stupid girl 1 and 2, wigu2,twine), HMV and Garbage's Uk record label at the time mushroom re releasing all their singles - I bought subhuman, ylsf2, queer 2. I was so lucky in London in Oxford Street I found Milk 1and2, queer1 and special2. I bought the Eu version of Sym in Spain from FNAC cos at the time it wasnt meant to be coming out anywhere else. All the BLM ones just from HMV and I bought imports of Run Baby Run and the aussie WDYLM single. Overall took a year to collect - twine and stupid girl 2 being the last cdds I bought excluding the version 2.0 3" cds. I had the push it one for ages before I found the rest. I now have USA and Eu and some Aussie copies of singles
Ebay is a good place to look esp in the Uk - go very cheap some of them
amazon.co.uk/com still has some

Wow, that is lucky. I don't know of ANY stores around anymore that sell cd-singles, or CDs for that matter (other than stupid Wal-Mart). I don't know what it is about Garbage b-sides, but Garbage is the band I care about collecting all music from. I know that other bands do the same thing, but Garbage singles and b-sides are really the only thing that hold my interest.

Used cd stores are the best place ebay is good but I find so much at used cd stored its crazy. Collecting can be expensive but now stuff is dirt cheap. Im stocking up and on a massive trading frenzy. I don't know why, but I have had some luck in Texas. I was able to obtain Shut Your Mouth CD1 (sealed w/ box) and CD3 for real cheap. The name of the store was Forever Young, which is in Grand Prairie (outside of Dallas). I received a tip from another board and jumped right on it. They did have 2 copies of CD3 in-stock and I had requested both; however, when I received the CD's I got a note and cash explaining that they could only sell one per customer. So I don't know if the other one is still in the store, but it would be worth a shot. Also when I called, I asked if they would read off their stock list. They had quite a few Garbage singles...I was amazed! This was back in February. They may still have some left.

Forever young is good but from my expierence a bit pricy. They do have tons of stuff I refer people there to get stuff.

I was just at a music store and they had 3 (yes, 3) copies of the 3 inch WIGU singles. I was going to buy them for $6.99 a piece, but the cards weren't in the best condition. I mean, they were good, but not what I would want them for, though.
I shoulda bought them anyway.

I am not exactly sure why, but most Beautifulgarbage singles tend to sell for more. It's probably because there are fewer of them in circulation, as they sold much more modestly here in the UK than the singles from the first 2 albums.
