If you hadn't heard the day after the Oct. 2 LA show. Garbage will be performing on the outdoor stage for a mini-concert for the Jimmy Kimmel Live show. Some tickets may be left. They are free. Goto www.1iota.comSign-up for an account if you don't have one. Click the Jimmy Kimmel Show picture. Find the Oct. 3 show, and click the ticket link for the mini-concert. It will tell you if you got tix, or on the waiting list. If you get tix, you need to print out the tix, and bring with you Oct. 3

This is gonna be awesome! I assume they'll be playing Control which is fantastic because it sounds great live. And from what I remember most bands usually play about 1 song and then another song to close out the show on Kimmel. But the best part of this will be that the band will be able to show off to a wider scale audience how energetic of a live band they are because it's more of an actual concert than a TV show, and we all know how great of a live band they are!

They'll do two for the show, then play a couple more off camera. You going to the taping?

tweets say they'll be playing "BFP" and "CONTROL". anyone taping this in the US might want to set their DVR's or whatever they're using to record whatever is past jimmy kimmel's timeslot because the coverage of the presidential debate might run long. the band will likely play at the end of the show so if you only tape kimmel's you might miss the band.

glad to see "control" played in full. i remember thinking it was a mistake to play BLM on both their letterman and leno appearences.

Some of the comments on that video. they need to shut the fuck up! I think there might have been some bad feedback on the mics cause it was echoing a lot at the start.

Control was done well. The people apologizing on the YouTube comments with the "everyone has a bad night" stuff aren't doing anyone any favors as it suggests the negative comments were understandable.

if anyone had a bad night it was perhaps the sound guys. the band was in fine form. i also had some minor criticism of the live sound mixing as well as the broadcast mixing, but that had nothing to do with the band's performance.
it was obvious how the level of tension on stage changed after the two broadcast songs. hardly any chat with the audience during them, all business. but the final 3 songs were more concert-like, shirley chatting to the audience as usual and generally loosening up a bit.

Yea exactly the guitars were way too quiet, and a little reverb on Shirl's voice would've been nice...

Anyone had audio of the entire "mini concert" they performed? Love the two songs, would love to hear the rest.

The mixing changed after the cameras went off. Duke's guitar definitely went up a few decibles
