YOUR personal top 10 favorite artists of all time. Where does Garbage land on that list? Are they #1? Are they even on your top 10? (They better be!) ALSO....Please fill us in and tell us who the rest of the artists are that complete your top 10 (or just top 5) This is a fun way to see what other artists Garbage fans out there love.
Here is my top 10. Be warned it is very mixed, as my music preference is quite varied.
My Top 10 Favorite Artists Of All Time: 10. Michael Jackson (Gotta love the king of pop) 09. Britney Spears (Call her a guilty pleasure) 08. Evanescence (Amy Lee speaks to my soul) 07. Liquido (I'd be surprised if anyone knew who they were - but they're amazing) 06. Madonna (Gotta love the queen of pop) 05. Joan Osborne (A one hit wonder, but she has tons of great albums) 04. Sarah Brightman (She can sing any genre and pull it off) 03. Pat Benatar (Grew up listening to her music. She's a legend) 02. Garbage (My salvation. Their music and lyrics lift my spirits) 01. Kylie Minogue (Everything she does makes me feel good inside. She is my hero, my idol.)

Wow this is tough. I think I fall a little more into the alt-pop/indie/electronica category:
1) Garbage 2) Robyn 3) Margot & The Nuclear So and So's 4) Metric 5) Goldfrapp 6) Bjork 7) Scissor Sisters 8) Depeche Mode 9) Yelle 10) Monarchy
Notable exceptions: Muse, Mew, YYY's, Portugal. The Man, Daft Punk, Postal Service, Nikka Costa, NIN, and No Doubt.
Recently I've really started to get into a few other bands, but who knows if they'll stick with me like the other bands have.

6. Sarah Brightman Does anyone think I prefer female singers lol! LOL nothing wrong with that. Most of my top 10 were female singers as well. And it's so nice to see another Sarah Brightman fan. Her song "Captain Nemo" is my favorite song of all time, hence why it is my user name :-P While it kills me that she's been taking her time between albums lately, I can't wait for the new album she's currently working on.

4. Dido Does anyone think I prefer female singers lol! I like Dido. Where has she gone? Apparently she is working on a new album now with a couple of high profile duets on it. No idea when it'll be out. Did you hear her underrated 3rd album, Safe Trip Home?
