After 2 singles (or 4, depends on how you count them) from NYKOP, I have to say I'm a bit dissapointed that there are no new B-Sides. As a Garbage fan from year one, I got quite used to having at least 1 to 2 additional songs as B-Sides from every single.
I know, NYKOP is the first album from which there were no physical singles released (no CD releases), maybe that is the reason for not having B-Sides...
What do you think? Will there be B-Sides in future NYKOP releases? Any hints? Or information from the band themselves?

The band are confident in getting some songs out later on in the year, and hints to an E.P

This time, I can say that you're endlessly complaining about those b-sides. Just think for a moment! Garbage already revealed their plans connected with releasing new EP or even set of EP's at the end of the year. Personally, I prefer EP to b-sides on each new single. Outtakes from the session are probably worth enough to put them on new release. That's a good sign.

Also you can count those 5 NYKOP bonus tracks as B-sides.

Yea, we have 6 b-sides (counting WGRYWH). I'm satisfied.
And the EP is only a possibility, but we can cross our fingers. The band did say they have many more songs from this era.

Not forgetting Time Will Destroy Everything.

I still feel like "Pedals" became "What Girls Are Made Of". I really hope I'm wrong, even though it's not a horrible song really. It just seems like they modified it from the clip of "Pedals" that was posted a long time ago.
Anyway, yeah, I like B-Sides, but I like EPs as well. We'll be getting something, I'm sure in the very near future. I mean, with all those extra songs they worked on, something's bound to surface soon with some of those around.

Oh no I hope that isn't the case for Pedals but now you say that they do sound a wee bit similar BUT that clip sounded so much fuller/richer as a potential song and WGAMO is such a stripped back song in contrast leads me to think maybe they are not the same

I don't hear it to be honest. What I REALLY think is that Pedals and Dizzy are works in progress, why rush great potential??
