Mine would be So Like a Rose (it holds a very special spot in my heart as an ending track so many memories of when I first GOT into Garbage in 2001) followed By You Look So Fine (this one is EPIC), Happy Home (it sounds so Larger Than Life At The End it sounds like the ending of a really great indie flick with alotta blood and like im on another planet it gives me LIFE) Milk (So soothing like taking a bath and that feeling of longing for someone) and Finally Beloved Freak (its great but it doesn't have that elongated ending that i LOVE about the ending tracks I'm sure it will grow on me and if only for this little light of mine im gonna let it shine!!

They're all fantastic, but I had to vote for YLSF.
For the record, I don't think Happy Home gets as much love as it deserves.

I love all of them but my vote went to Happy Home. Garbage really do know how to end an album.

Love them all but if I have to order them it will go like this:
You Look So Fine >> Milk > Happy Home >>>> So Like A Rose > Beloved Freak

Happy Home, for me. easily.
as mentioned in either the 'least' thread, lotta love for HH. poignant, relevant, and... a great song, above all.
would've definitely gone along with the 'G know how to close an album' notion motioned above... until NYKOP was released. because, as also stated in the 'least' thread... absolutely no love for the cliche-ridden groan that is Beloved Freak.
and seeing as all the kids are doing it...
Happy Home > You Look So Fine/So Like a Rose/Milk (par) >>>>>>>>>>>> Beloved Freak

If I had to put them in order...
YLSF > Milk > Beloved Freak > HH > SLAR
VERY stiff competition here, I must say.

You Look So Fine >>> Happy Home >>> So Like A Rose >>> Milk >>> Beloved Freak By no means does this mean I dislike any of tracks or think they suck! They're all so good, Garbage always make the best tracks to finish an album. You Look So Fine is simply beautiful, and I just love it and it moves me. Plus the way she sings 'lets pretend happy end' in the soft, high voice is just amazing. This is one of those songs that can just make me stop what i'm doing and just sit there, silent. The live outros like the one performed and Edinburgh and MuchMusique are also one of the most amazing things i've ever heard. I also have a copy of the 2005 Vegas show and although it's not the best performance, the guitar work in the outro is really good. Happy Home... not much I can say about it. I don't know why I love it so much, but the outro always raises a bunch of emotions in me. So Like A Rose is one of the highlights of BG. The first time I heard the album I hadn't looked at the tracklisting more than once, I don't know why... but when it got to track 12 I just assumed that it was the last track because S/T and V2.0 only had 12 tracks and I was just like 'noooo... you can't the album which this weird, pop messy song (I don't like Untouchable much)' and was disappointed. Then a few minutes later So Like A Rose started softly and I just sat there, listening. I love the production of this, the guitar tones, and mood of the song and the lyrics. This song just makes me relax, and it destresses me. Milk is a great song, and definetly is a solid closing song, but it's got nothing on You Look So Fine or Happy Home or So Like A Rose Beloved Freak - Again, a very good song. It's uplifting in a way, and has great lyrics. But it doesn't really hit me as a closing song. My opinion will change, it's just this song hasn't clicked with me as fast or as much as the rest of the closing songs. AND Show Me - Well, it's a closing track on the deluxe edition!! This songs strikes me as an 'epic Garbage conclusion' song more. Soaring vocals, a soft of powerful feel. Still, not as good as Happy Home or So Like A Rose and definetly nowhere near on the same level as You Look So Fine.

Milk > Happy Home > YLSF > So Like A Rose > Beloved Freak
Just can't get into Beloved Freak; sounds more like a b-side to me. Agree that Happy Home never gets the credit it deserves; a great vocal and that extended outro is perfect, but it can't supplant Milk.
