I'm confused though...on the performance I have of it...it's listed as 8/17/96, which is the Bizarre Festival, and I thought I saw "Bizarre" written on the side of the stage. BUT the setlist matches the Phillipshalle, Dusseldorf performance...which is on 4/7/96.
My question is...where there 2 Rockpalasts (sp?) that year? Because I've seen both events listed as Rockpalast.
Anyway....that concert was really cool. Shirley had a more predatory way of performing back then...now she is more energetic, jumping around, riling up the crowd. In the debut era, she kind of stalked around onstage. But I like it. She seemed to be in a bitchy mood though...she made some comment about Margaret Thatcher and she was like "This song...is being remixed...by Garbage...it's from our debut album...it's called Dog New Tricks". She said it so weird. But I like how they perform DNT as the remix...it's much cooler.
So was I seeing the 4/7/96 show or the 8/17/96 show?
EDIT: Duke did address "Cologne" during the show (which was the August show).....HMMMM

Okay I'll explain it for you.
Originally the show was supposed to be held on 4/7/96. However, the day before Dr. Brown, or "Doc", had Shirley come to the JC Penny's parking lot to show off his new invention. When Shirley arrived, she found out it was a time machine.
Some No Doubt terrorists arrived though, and to escape Shirley drove off in the DeLorean, not knowing it had been set to go to the future on 8/16/96. She hit 88MPH and was sent to the future.
The next day, when she woke up she found out it was actually 8/17/96 and she had missed all the concerts before then. To make up for it, she held one that day, and the future Doc taped the whole thing (most notably the part where she lip syncs to Chuck Berry).
After the performance, Doc rigged up an auxilary method to get back home, as the flux capacitor normally only ran on plutonium which they currently didn't have.
When she got back home, she remember she still had to do the performance in this timeline, and so she went on with the show; the 8/17/96 show never really happened in our timeline, but since it had already been caught on tape it sort of did.
The tape eventually leaked, and thus that is why there two Rockpalasts shows.

I think rockpalast is the name of the channel/tv show (those people who filmed the show for tv)?

Yeah I think it is--or if its not a channel, its the name of the program that broadcasts these shows. I would just like to know if I am seeing the August show or the April show...right now I'm leaning towards August, even though the setlist for that show supposedly doesn't contain "Milk" (and this show does).

the april show is at night (white tee shirt, black skirt, boots, dog new tricks remix), bizarre festival is at day (she's wearing a pink shirt i think?). Also, both shows were in Koln.

I have it too, but I haven't watched it for like five years. And I'm too lazy to check.
Okay... there was something pink there, wasn't it? Maybe a small part of a pink boa on the mic stand?
