Nine Inch Nails mainman Trent Reznor is bemoaning being beaten to a Grammy by Radiohead. 'In Rainbows' scooped the 'Best deluxe Packaging' Award at Sunday's ceremony, beating Nine Inch Nails' 'Ghosts' series. Trent Reznor seems to think this is a miscarriage of justice. In a Twitter update, he's said that 'Ghosts DESTROYS In Rainbows deluxe package - no debate'. www.phantom.ie/content/view/1960/104/

Well, I can't say I disagree with that...

With over 120 other awards surely a Best Deluxe Packaging Grammy is taking the piss isn't it? When did that start anyway? Surely if that award had been around ten years ago, Garbage would have walked it every year.

Exactly. *sigh* I miss the Garbage packaging - just as exciting as buying the music itself, it was an event. I wish they had done donething cool for AG but alas, no. But yeh c'mon I thought when I saw this this may be because he lost out on Best Album...

There's no way Radiohead should have beat him out for the best packaging.

I don't think Radiohead would care too much about the packaging either. It's all down to their company really.
Shoulda gave it to Trent just to keep him quiet! JOKE!

On a side note...
Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails is speaking up about sharing a rehearsal facility with Britney while both prepare for their separate tours.
"I can hear the thumping low end of Britney Spears. It's been a treat having them here the whole time we've been here."
In response, Britney's manager, Adam Leber, says "Brit has been sharing the same rehearsal space with NIN for the past few weeks and they are getting along famously. Maybe we should ask Trent Reznor to remix Circus?"
