But why is the official garbage site being designed by subhuman.net? Shouldnt the record label hire professional web designers who have inside info straight from the label design the new site, plus this 1 site has been put off almost a week now, and this isnt ur job, the web designers from the record label would be paid to make the site, it just seems like garbage.com is going to turn into another fan site to me....with gossip.

The record label hired him, and he is a professional web designer. He does get his info straight from them also.

Dan is correct Shell (subhuman.net) has been hired by the band to do the website. He was personally contacted by the band to do the site.
Shell and Sirin are amazing web designers. You have to remember Shell has to do what he is told to do with the site. I would say the biggest problem is the label. They (the lable) dont move very fast.
One minute it is GO GO GO and the next is STOP. I imagine he has the lable, band, and there management coming at him at the same time. In the end Shell will deliver and amazing site.
From what I am hearing the band is on a short break from recording so I am pretty sure that a website is the last thing on there minds.
To quote you "this 1 site has been put off almost a week now, and this isnt ur job"
It is his job he has been hired to make a site for the band.

To confirm what everyone else said.... I am a professional designer, and a partner in a web business with my wife. We were hired by the band.
Subhuman.net was never designed to be an official site, but rather a play pen for my wife and I to test out site ideas while working on a subject we adore.
The official site is quite different - complete, no rough edges, and cross-browser. It only contains official information, rather than gossip - subhuman.net will remain around for that role.
The site is now complete and being tested.
Hope that clarifies.
