It was pretty good, but not great. I never saw the original so I can't compare. There were a few good scary parts, but some other parts that defied logic. All my friends were going ballistic afterwards, and I was just kind of like "What? It was just another zombie movie."
The best part was (highlight for a SPOILER): A guy on top of his gun store was shooting at zombified celebrities. He shot Jay Leno and Burt Reynolds, but Rosie O'Donnell was "too easy." I laughed my ass off.

I need a good laugh at a zombie movie.... Though Day of the Dead made me laugh when Bub was listening to the music, saluting the evil military guy, and shot someone (I'm not telling)
So... I must see this remake once I've seen the original... hmm... I wonder if my library has any of the dead trilogy in their DVD collection....

Just eating, Sleeping, and Shiting... And people that don't put 2 and 2 together...
Liquor store + leading the zombies into the liquor store with a bunch of raw meat from the grocery store + locking them in and lighting the place on fire = escape and FUN! ;D

from what i've heard in the interviews with Sarah Polley, the new version is not intended to be a remake at all. rather makes me wonder why they've given it the exact same name, then..

They tend to say that about remakes at times... Oh! It's not a remake... It's just something with similar scenes, plot, and the same exact title but in a more recent setting! *hops up and down like a ditz*
Hmm... I'm being too bitchy right now... I had better leave this board alone....

I love Sarah Polly, such a under appreciated actress. I do wanna see this film...just haven't had the chance.
