We already knew it was somewhat official, at least endorsed by the band. The back cover states the copyright is held by "Garbage Unlimited" which i'd assume is the band and it's on license to Eagle.

I am in the US. I ordered the One Mile High Bluray for $13.88 (cheap!) from Amazon - supposed to arrive Friday. I will let you guys know if it arrives. The DVD is only $9.99.

Hehehe...Gotta love Amazon's pre-order guarantee. They refunded me $0.10 each for the Blu-Ray and the DVD. I got my copies yesterday with 2 day shipping (I love Amazon Prime lots and lots).
Sooo....was anyone from the board there?

Yep, I'm a Prime addict too. So, how is this now more official than it was before? What changed?

I don't think it's any more or less official. Just that the band finally posted something about it.

I ordered the Bluray from Amazon, it came right away as promised. Absolutely stunning quality. Highly recommended!

What a completely dull crowd... Last year in Amsterdam the crowd went mad when playing Cherry Lips (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kgypi8MbsQs) but at this event, besides some real enthousiasts the crowd stays almost completely silent.

I just watched it, and I thought the crowd was fine. In any event, the band was tight. They sounded great.

I don't know about everyone else, but I'm watching Shirley, not the crowd!

Why are we even seeing the crowd so much? Are the youtube clips representative of the blu-ray itself? Why do they keep getting so many shots from the other end of the club. I was in the front row when I saw them live last year but now I guess I can see what they look like from the very back? I only have one other live DVD and that's Rockers to Swallow from the YYYs. The DVD rotates between close up shots of Karen, Nick and Brian and when it widens, it widens so you can see them play along with the front row. They don't pan out repeatedly to the other end of the venue so you feel like you are in the very back. I'll still pick it up to support G but I wish it was shot differently.

Showing the crowd is one of my biggest complaints about ALL recent live pro-shot shows. Since HD film became standard, the directors seem obsessed on lighting and focusing on the crowd, as if someone at the record label said "make a point of showing off how many fans weve got now and how big the venue is now". I'm sorry, but I'm an adult - I can guess how big the venue is from the size of the stage, the number of cameras used and a couple of crane shots over the vourse of two hours. And I can find out how many people were there by the medium of Google. If I wanted to see the fans of a gig rather than the band then I'd have got a job as pit security. And at least I'd be paid to do it. Also, if your camera editor isn't familiar enough with a bands music to be able to direct and edit musically, then get another one who does. Compare the work of MTV 5 Night Stand - you can tell whoever was choosing the live camera feed knew every Garbage song.

I like to get the feel of being there and that does not include close ups all night. Nothing I hate more than a live concert video where they only ever show one band member at a time and only from the shoulder up. Jeez! I like how they did One Mile High. It seems more natural to me. But then again I generally prefer audience shot video to pro shot video. Probably because audience shot footage is often not so tight on the individual band members.

I got this on Blu-Ray. It's a great concert. Camera angles aren't very good but it didn't bother much because the concert was good. They could have chosen a better venue to film this though. One bad thing is the picture quality. It's only 1080i. You could tell that it's not full HD. I hope they film more concerts.
