Woot! It appears that Garbage are going to be on the Late Show with David Letterman March 19th. www.cbspressexpress.com/cbs-entertainment/releases/view?id=34791Since I had no clue that they were going to play "I Hate Love" on Leno I can't even begin to imagine what they'll play on Letterman. Nevertheless I can't wait to see it!

i had checked on this a few days ago. i hoped they would be able to get on the show while in nyc. isn't this the same day shirley is going to be at the IFC for a film discussion? i'd love it if they'd play ASH, BIM or MOAW.

Whats the bets on them perfoming Because the Night? That would be awesome! Apparently Shirley's also going to be on the show "Watch What Happens Live" which is on Bravo. - www.bravotv.com/watch-what-happens-live/upcoming-guestsIt looks like a nauseatingly awful show but any Shirley is good Shirley, especially if she gets to talk. I don't think the show airs where I live so hopefully there will be videos available of it later.

Unlike nearly all other US talk shows, guests on WWHL are there for the full half hour of broadcast (plus after-show footage for online). We can expect phone and twitter questions answered live in real time. In addition new guest usually play 'plead the 5th' => the host asks 3 risque questions /2 of which must be answered on spot, one may be excused; they take shots off a ski and shit -- all very off the cuff. I'm looking forward to it! Right now Shirley is marked as the only guest for that night -- even better I'd LOVE if Shirley/Garbage would do Stern, aside from his show or Bill Mahr, this will be a more rewarding appearance than the usual quick chat late-night appearance.

Oh that actually sounds pretty good. I've never seen the show, I just looked at the guests and saw a bunch of reality show stars and got scared. But then I looked at past guests and I saw that they had a bunch of comedians I liked so that's definitely a good thing. And I agree about Shirley going on either Stern or Bill Maher. I loved Garbage's first Stern interview and I just in general love Bill Maher so either would be great.

I thought they gave a killer performance of BIM. Like Letterman said, "And you call that garbage?" ;D

It was stellar! I like how they're playing different songs on all the late night circuits here in the US and not just sticking with BFP.

Loved the performance! Had no clue that they'd play "Battle In Me" but am glad they did since it's one of my favorites off the new album. In my opinion I think it was the most energetic performance they ever gave on late night American television, mostly due to the fact that Shirley left her mic stand by the drums and just decided to stalk around the stage with her mic in hand.
