There is a long running thread on reddit now asking people to name three songs and three songs only for someone to listen to from a band, what would your three songs for Garbage be?
My list would be as follows.
1. Only Happy When It Rains- My favorite song of all time, can't leave it out.
2. Cup Of Coffee- Favorite slow song.
3. When I Grow Up- One of their more up-beat pop songs to show that side of the band.

1. Blood For Poppies - an underrated modern masterpiece
2. You Look So Fine - Epic song with a beautiful sound very detailed
3. Why Do You Love Me - Pop Rock done at it's best very upbeat

2. TTITKB - So beautiful
3. Control - This song seems more awesome to me every time that I hear it. It's sneaking up into my all-time favorite G songs

2.Automatic Systematic Habit - My favorite off of the new album, plus I love the sassiness of Shirley in this song as well.
3. #1 Crush - there is something about this song that just, yeah I love it!!

Goodness
1. Supervixen - defines what is great about garbage I think and possibly my fav song ever so I'm biased
2. The Trick Is To Keep Breathing - one of the best slowies love it so much
3. Push It - I could have picked loads of of tracks but this was one of the best singles and highlights from Version 2.0and has been on every tour since 99.

Assuming the point of this thread is to introduce someone else to Garbage, I'd pick these three:
Hammering In My Head
Androgyny
Happy Home
I could just say "Only Happy When It Rains, I Think I'm Paranoid, and Stupid Girl" but why pick the signature songs that everyone knows when I could show someone the diversity, the range, and the hidden gems of the Garbage's discography?
