WOW! What an amazing show! For some of us, this was our 4th show in a week! MorganaKittie and I got invited to go into the soundcheck and meet the band! I will post pics and video in a bit. i heard you got to take the place of radio contest winners who didn't show up. that's the same thing that happened to me in montreal in 2005. how do you win something like that and not even go?

Yeah, there were a few winners that didn't show up or were really late ... then the tour manager and station reps grabbed 5 of us from the front of the line and asked us if we wanted to go in. That was a no-brainer. WHO DOESN'T SHOW UP FOR SUCH A THING?!? Craziness. |

Here is my pic with Shirley Manson from the meet and greet!  Here is MorganaKittie's moment with Shirley! Shirley had written "The Strangest of The Strange" for her earlier in our weekend. DanTheGarbageMan arranged that for her! Thank you, Dan! MorganaKittie then had it tatooed on her. Shirley took a look and said she was honored that she got it. <3  Here is the group shot!  |

super jealous of morganas tatoo! I would like a similar one across my chest, like neck clavicle area that simply read bleed like me but im afraid shirley may not want to do it if she thinks neck tatoos are tacky

Kinda bummed about my audio recording. It didn't turn out the greatest, but I wasn't about to sacrifice a front row spot for a good recording. There was a lot of snare and kick drum in the mix where I was. I can still get the audio up on the G tracker eventually if anyone wants it. I'm hoping better audio surfaces somewhere.

How early did you guys have to show up to be at the very front? I'm definitely down for showing up to my local show super early (Boston - about 900 person show), but I don't want to do it.
