An interesting EP being released soon is "Wildcat" by Survival Guide. Survival guide is a side project by Emily Whitehurst(Agent M formerly of Tsunami Bomb and The Action Design) and Jaycen Mckissick(Guitarist for Tsunami Bomb and The Action Design). Overall Survival Guide has more of a slower electronica sound than the previous bands.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs probably will release a new album (usually they release an album every 3 years). Apart from the new Garbage album? I'm interesting to hear Oceania by the Smashing Pumpkins... the first 8 songs of Teargarden with just Billy and a few randoms recording suck, but the songs released recorded with the new full band are a big improvement, i'm curious to hear what a cohesive album by what's essentially SP 2.0 will sound like...
It features a lot of big names in the "darkwave" scene. I love it when lots and lots of musicians come together for a single cause. The first Electronic Saviors compilation was amazing. This is the project of Jim Semonik of PA based Reinforced. Jim is a cancer survivor and all proceeds go to Gilda's Club/Cancer Support Community (http://www.gildasclub.org/) and The Bone Marrow Foundation (http://www.bonemarrow.org/).
Half an hour. One bag. Plus the guns. I'll make pancakes. Sarah Connor
Im looking forward to Ladyhawke and Saint Etienne's new albums... however both are due for release on May 21st (which is my birthday) and I think I wont be able to give them my full attention because... well...you all know what's coming out a week before that.
"The new record sounds like all the things we love. We’ve found the excitement again. It’s time." Shirley Manson, May 2011.
Dance Away: And, Elvis Costello's wife is Diana Krall. Oh god, do I love the music of Diana Krall! And, I know it's an aspiration of Shirley to do the kind of music that Krall is doing. Shirley's mother was a 'big band' music singer (sample "Glenn Miller" big band)

orthodoxparadox36: I think that album actually saved, well, a few of the most important things in my life. I am eternally grateful for the way you all chose to dedicate your collective creative genius; something which makes it that much more special, not to mention, genuine!
