OK, I am thinking about buying an iPhone. But I don't like the fact that it is AT&T only. Their montlhy rate is high. I heard like around $100 month. Not that I can't afford that. But I heard on the radio today they are coming out with a new one this summer that works on most carriers. I want an unlimited, talk, text, and web plan. Just a C-note a month sounds a little steep. Should I wait, or just get the current one?

Wait. Or get an iPod Touch and you don't have to pay AT&T. I use my Touch all the time - it has wi-fi but no GPS or camera. Plus you can get up to 64GB instead of only 32.

I was looking at the iPod Touch. Maybe I should get both? The new iPhone, and the iPod touch.

Don't get both, an iphone is basically ipod touch with the 3G capabilites, telephone and txt and camera added on. There will most likely be a new iphone this year but it will probably include very minor upgrades, given that the new ipad is very very simillar to the iphone 3GS and it was only recently released, an ALL NEW iphone would render the ipad outdated.

I bought the iPod Touch 64G today. I am charging it up, and then I'll play with it a bit.

I'm probably going to get the iPod Touch too. My old iPod still works, but it's the U2 version that came out like.... 5 - 6 years ago.

I haven't figured out how to get it to play all the videos yet. So I have to select them one at a time.
