Has anyone else seen it? I LOVED it! I was thoroughly disturbed. After watching this movie, I came home and watched both Kill Bills (for the first time), but still went to bed with Shutter Island on my mind. And woke up the same way... I can't really write any kind of review for one who hasn't seen it, as this is a movie which one wants to know nothing about before seeing it.
*********SPOILERS:*******************
It's not a movie for everyone. From what I've read/heard, it's a love or hate kinda movie. I loved it. I didn't figure out the twist until at least half way through the movie, but even at that point, i'm one to play devil's advocate with myself so I spent the entire time up until the end trying to figure out which way things were going. I get myself deep into these sorts of psychological movies, and I felt my own sanity being tampered with as the movie went on. I know a lot of haters gripe that they saw the twist coming too early, but I really don't think this is a movie all about the twist. It's a lot deeper than M. Night Shamalyan's movies where it's just out to shock you. This movie is one of many layers, and I, for one, got lost in them.

I loved it. To be honest with the trailer me and my friend guessed what the twist was, but the way that the movie was made, it was still awesome even though I had an idea of what the big twist would be. Was also the first movie I've seen with just me and my mum in 6 years.
Has anyone read the book?

but the ending kinda confused me Well, it is a psychological mystery-thriller. (; Has anyone read the book? I haven't, unfortunately, but I desperately want to. [As soon as I finish reading The Girl who kicked the Hornets' Nest though] Surely on of the best movies I've seen in a while.

I saw a trailer and read some synopses. I guessed the ending to myself, and out of curiosity (I don't really see movies, much) looked up the ending. I was right. Is it still worth seeing?
