Look sorry for posting this seeing as I haven't posted on here for quite a long time but this is really important to me and my friend and we need as much support as possible.
Okay, well basically my friend Meg is shaving off all her hair for a charity (Cystic Fibrosis trust) because our friend has CF and she wanted to do something for her / raise awareness and money for the cause.
She has long curly hair so shaving it all off is a big deal, she really wants to reach £2, 500 but only currently has raised around £600 so it would be great if you guys could donate money to the cause if you have a debit / credit card or ask your parents if you don't. It would be really lovely, because come on what a few pounds going to set you back on.
If you're lovely enough to donate you can donate here on this website - uk.virginmoneygiving.com/shavemegshead
Here's a bit about the CF.
What is Cystic Fibrosis?
Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is one of the UK's most common life-threatening inherited diseases.
Cystic Fibrosis affects over 8,500 people in the UK.
Over two million people in the UK carry the faulty gene that causes Cystic Fibrosis - around 1 in 25 of the population.
If two carriers have a child, the baby has a 1 in 4 chance of having Cystic Fibrosis.
Cystic Fibrosis affects the internal organs, especially the lungs and digestive system, by clogging them with thick sticky mucus.
This makes it hard to breathe and digest food.
Each week, five babies are born with Cystic Fibrosis.
Each week, three young lives are lost to Cystic Fibrosis.
Around half of the CF population can expect to live over 38 years, although improvements in treatments mean a baby born today could expect to live even longer.
Thanks for helping
