I finally saw this movie on HBO last night. Frist it was LONNNNG. Second it was really confusing and slow at times. Ocasionally interupted my be ogaling Malin Ackermans fine ass. Mostly I wonder why couldnt they animate some PANTS on Dr. Manhatten! His digitally animated wang is starting to annoy me!

I think that the Theatrical version is better than the director's cut. I known that the director's cut adds a couple of scenes from the comic, but it makes for a slightly worse movie. Either way, Watchmen is a great movie.

Loved it. Did feel long but def. needed everything in it to stay true to the novel. Glad I'd read the graphic novel prior to seeing it, otherwise might've been bored.

I had high expectations for this film but I felt kinda let down.
I'm a huge comic nerd (and nerd in general) and I never read the graphic novel so that may've had something to do with it....but I dunno....to me, it wasn't all that great. The Dark Knight set the bar for how all other comic book films are, at least for me, going to be rated. That bar is set pretty high....

I dont think it can be compared to something like Batman unless in reference to the graphic novels. Its more like Sin City - noirish/ adult novel type thing than a straight up comic book
