 They've sort of kept quiet about this one (maybe they're trying to avoid what happened with Seventh Tree when it leaked months before it's intended release date) There's no real info on what it sounds like, but Alison said in her blog: "this album is very different from the last, but i hope you enjoy it just as much for different reasons. i’m really looking forward to playing the new songs live as a lot of them are so up and jubilant. even the revenge songs are kind of joyous! its gonna be a blast!" Rocket, the first single will be released March 9th. |

Hmmm....One thing I'll say about Goldfrapp...They are certainly willing to experiment. I am not a big fan of Seventh Tree, but maybe I just haven't given it enough listens. Happiness has grown on me.

aww, they are my favs now. And though I'm in love with Felt mountain and Seventh Tree most of all, their dance songs are great too. I like the fact that new song is in different style again, and a way better than some of the Supernature songs. So I'm impatiently waiting for the Head First release)

On more listens I am liking much more now really really fed up though at the lack of uk tour dates - 2 dates in places can't get to after work would need to take a day off to get there grrrr

Rocket is probably the weakest on the album IMO. I'm really into Head First (the song) at the moment. It's obviously classic Goldfrapp.
