It has been confirmed for 2010
"The day that Andy finally stops playing with his toys and heads off to college finally comes and Woody, Buzz, Jessie et al must cope with being abandoned".
The screenwriter for Little Miss Sunshine is apparently on board.
What are your thoughts?

How many kids play with toys right up until they go to college? This was my thought exactly. They should have made Andy going into junior high school, like 7th or 8th grade. That would have been more realistic. Regardless, I'll check this out!

I am 19 and sometimes walk past legos and feel really compelled to buy them. I am just saying that I really want to play with legos a lot.

So Toy Story 3 is out now, who has seen it? It has 100% fresh rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, so I guess it's a worthy sequel-to-a-sequel.

I just viewed this evening on the CNBC channel "The Pixar Story" - a documentary on Pixar covering its history to the year 2007. "The Pixar Story" will air again on CNBC on July 5 (Monday) from 10am to 12pm, and from 8pm to 10pm (times are Eastern in USA). Toy Story's claim to fame in cinema history is the first 'feature length' computer animated film. The first appearance of computer animation in a 'feature length' film occured in the movie "Westworld" in 1973. I learned about this in "The Pixar Story." In this screenshot from "Westworld", there is an image of a hand in a video monitor that is an animated computer generated image. This CGI animated hand in this video monitor seen in the movie "Westworld" is the first application of CGI animation in cinema history.

Saw it in a tent at Glastonbury for free in 3-D last week. It was wonderful - I nearly cried at one point - just brilliant! Pixar did it again

i've seen it twice since it came out..definitely my favorite of the 3 and the best movie i have seen in a loooong time...but there are certain parts i felt would be too heavy for little kids but whatever. the theaters were sprinkled with a variety of all ages, but when it first came out and i saw it, it was mostly people my age who had grown up with the first 2 films, and had their kids with them.

I saw it for free and was paid to see it at work (I work at a playscheme looking after kids for the summer) absolutely loved it, I think more than the kids I was with, laughed loads and was almost in tears at a couple of bits.
