Awesome, I'm really looking forward to this! Show Your Bones was brilliant, as was the Is Is EP (bit of a tongue twister there).

I'm really looking forward to it too! Although I only liked Show Your Bones in fleeting moments (unless anyone can suggest what songs like Fancy are all about, I lik to decipher lyrics) I thought ISIS was great (especially Down Boy - omg amazing!)

That's a pretty striking cover. The single cover is pretty cool too.

One of the most innovative covers I've seen in a long time.

F*****g gorgeous album! More electronic, more polished and quite different than previous releases. It's like YYYs "Version 2.0" album
I think I will buy this album

The style of "Fever to Tell" is long gone. No more screaming... Karen O provides some really beautiful vocals esp. on slow songs. And they use more synths than all their releases put together YYY will lose some fans with this release and gain another ones I'm very sure Their new direction is closer to Garbage than The Kills Fave songs: Zero, Heads Will Roll, Dull Life, Runaway, Dragon Queen, Hysteric "Heads Will Roll" is the best song of 2009 so far

Hmmm. Maybe I have to give it a few more listens? I'm underwhelmed.

Really liking the sound of this. While I don't think it rates as highly for me as Show Your Bones, it definitely deserves repeat listens. I think it's a harder album to get into straight off the bat, but there's a few songs there I'm listening to that are growing on me more and more.
Favs so far are actually the slower songs: Skeletons, Soft Shock, Runaway; but I also like Dull Life.
