Well, I don't know what record HMV are listening to, cause Spinnerette's album is great! Just bought it and am really loving it. I hope they tour more in the US I definitely don't want to miss them. My favorites are baptized by fire, impaler, driving song, and rebellious palpitations...hell the whole album is a winner

I read the HMV review of the album. They compared it to an Avril Lavigne attempt of an album... From what I've heard the truth is the complete opposite. Most of the reviews feel the need to compare them to someone and it's usually a band or 'artist' that has no relevance at all. There's one that calls them a punked up version of The Ting Tings, can't remember which one. I love the album. I think the problem is that people are expecting something close to The Distillers.

Saw it on YouTube. Loved the blurry album cover, really makes it impossible to know what's under it....

Yup.
Brody said they'll most likely hit Australia in February. That's so damn far away!

Brilliant song. Reminded me of the rawness of The Distillers.
